    Whoh, We're already on the 6.0 server? WOOT! Any way, I noticed on the older thread that Dirk appeared, but does that mean that the image that elemental posted will be the appearence of the Simtropolis site?
  2. hmm, the classes at my school are on block schedules with "A" and "B" days, with an "A" day then a "B" day and an "A" day and a "B" Day and a... Back on topic, Bolivia has two capitals, Sucre and La Paz, I'm unsure why...
  3. Yes, I'm able to get back on Simtropolis after school for once this week! I don't seem to understand the new old smilies, I know that this forum is a fusetalk one, but how did these smilies (,,,etc.) get to Simtropolis? Oh, and abcvs, What's this theory with the Page Flip Bug? All of a sudden I'm interested! EDIT: alright, I don't understand how to make old smilies, but the speed of the uploads are nice... is there an increase on the bandwidth?
  4. Well, does anyone know how to read a schematic and has a wire with a 3 MW cappacity? On another note, I'd replace my own lightbulbs if they weren't so hard to remove from their sockets (and if the caseing on some lightbulb units weren't bolted on so tight (and if...))
  5. Square Root Day? I've only heard of Pi day... that won't be until the 14th of this month. Mmm... π... Sorry, went a little math geek there for a second, but anyway, I think flame throwers are powerless against the page flip bug, the only way to get rid of it is to post messages (something it tries to discourage by hiding the most recent page with it's buggy ideals)
  6. Wires? I thought a fuse blew... replace the fuse, problem fixed! But then again, the fuse blew from the industrial strength, high bandwidth, 1 MW Halogen light bulb, so we'll need to install an industial strength, high bandwidth 2 MW halogen compatable fuse! (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not an electrition... (I can't even spell it...))
  7. umm, soon after my last post I remembered about the arrows... I only know around 256 characters that can be done with the alt key, but I had no idea that there were 65536 characters, (By the time I get to alt+257, it starts to repeat) But if it is a bad idea to copy and paste from Word, why is there a "Paste from Word" button? (5th button from the top left) More or less back on topic, One group of forums, "City-Building Topics", is not visible on the left hand navigation panel, would that be fixed in Simtropolis 6.0?

Well, actually, I've found something a while ago that allows you to do accents and other special characters involving the alt key! examples: alt+21 --> § alt+130 --> é alt+232 --> Φ alt+0175 --> ¯ You get the picture, I don't know all of the alt key+number combinations, but if someone does, it could revolutionize ascii type art! (Or you could just insert and copy the symbols from Microsoft Word, your call...)

  13. Umm, isn't there already colors on Simtropoolis? Although... the banner is still a bit monochromatic and the site's color scheme is blue, so I get where you're coming from with that.   14. Ok... where's the new banner? My assumption was wrong apparently... oh well. It was a good guess with the info that I had, but some of that info could have also be flawed in someway. By the way, the site was down again around 4 o'clock PST. (There has to be some reason to the site being down so often!)

  19. Hmm... seems that the plot has thickened ol' chaps! Where could this "Megadome" be located? How many Webmasters would be sent to this convention? And what qualifies a banner as "hazardous to the general population"? ......... Umm, does that count as a dissertation? did adding "ol' chaps" do anything? (Yikes, 5 questions in one post? Hmm... Well, I do sometimes ramble unnecessarily... )

    I think that this is a great idea, the trees are a perfect fit for many city environments and I am looking forward to seeing these on the STEX when they are "Wealth Dependent". An idea to improve it would be to have the sidewalks as a thin strip instead of the entire curve peice. Also, if the trees could be added to normal roads and avenues, that would be great. Finally, could the PEG seasonal trees fit for this mod? But regardless of suggestions, this mod is great as it is. Good luck with this mod.

  23. Thanks for your welcome Streetwise... By the way, has anyone noticed that the site has been down erratically for this past weekend? It started happening soon after I became a member here, (I don't want to be the reason behind it). But I think Dirk might have something to do with it. Either way,... It is BIZARRE! Does anyone have an explaination?
