A couple of things I've never got about SimCity 4!

Thank you . I'll try out these mods. I can partly understand the lack of radius but I'm not sure what they were thinking having such high numbers of people in each house. Maybe there's a reason but I should think that it will be less cost effective to run with half as many people per house but who knows maybe the radius mod will cancel it out. I've only just decided to start playing the game again but I'll see how these go. Thanks -

Hi peeps, I've just joined this site after owning the great SimCity 4 (much better than Societies!) for four or five years. These are the only things I've never understood about the mostly realistic game: Why has it always told me that there's about twelve occupants of one house about the size of ours? Very strange, I know that Americans tend to have larger households but some of the figuresare just ridiculous. Why is it like this (I mean I assume that everyone else's cities and towns are like this) Also I know that in inner cities there are schools, hostpitals and police and fire stations every few blocks (or roads as they are over here!) but don't you think that the catchment should be able to be increased to quite a few miles? After all I live in the small town of Lostwithiel in Cornwall, Great Britain and our nearest remotely large hostpital is six miles away in Bodmin. I'd say the average is at least a couple of miles. I know SC4 is built for major built up cities but I think the catchment area should be able to be large. (After all one would have to keep it small in the main city anyway because a large catchment area would go over capacity!) What do you guys reckon. Personally, I'm baffled and these aspects of the game!
