I'm not looking for the Braniff 707, I already have that. I am looking for a particular piece of runway that looks exactly like the one shown in that picture. The piece is either 1X2 or 2X2 and it generates the 707 Automata to land or take-off from a custom runway.

Hello all, Swamper, yes that was the Power Line that I was looking for, thank you very much! Now I am looking for a particular piece from an Airport Pack. It is either a 1X2 or 2X2 runway segment that allows the Boeing 707 & Boeing 767 automata to take off and land on custom built runways. I know that it is not part of the ACE packs or Voltaire's RMIP packs. But I can not for the life of me find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The runway segment would look like the type of runway depicted in this picture; Thank you for your help. As Always...Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Hello All, I am looking for a replacement for the Maxis "Power Lines" that changes the Red & White style towers for the Steel High Gain Power Lines that are seen in the Western United States. I have seen it before, but for the life of me I can not find it. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance for taking the time to help. As Always...Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Secondly, these terminal segments are not available yet...they are still being finalized along with several additional projects that are being completed in the Aerospace Consortium. Once Ace and Voltaire deem their various projects finished...they will be releasing them...but as you can see, both are ardant professionalists, so they will take the time necessary to make each piece perfect. Yes, the one-year anniversary has arrived...however, Voltaire has been extremely busy with the current projects of the Aerospace Constortium and that includes the Boeing 747 model he and ACE have been finalizing, the upcoming Boeing 737 and Bombardier CRJ-700/CRJ-200 as well as the next installment of the RMIP series that will include the hottly contested Wide Runways. Currently Real Life has Voltaire pretty tied up, but he will return soon. I do come here with a different intention. Given the recent debates over the size of the future 5-Tile wide runways, please consider your objections, arguments, or disputes noted and logged. Voltaire has seen them but I believe he is still palnning to go ahead with the current size of the wide runways and that size is 5 Tiles wide. I don't doubt the amount of research he has done to determine that 5 Tiles is the appropriate width and given his previous work, his incredible "Honda-esqe" quality, and his unwavering drive for perfection and realism...I do not doubt him on this matter. As someone else posted earler, if you do not like 5 Tiles wide, then do not download this file. Otherwise, please let the man work on his creation as he intends to. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support. On a side note, the Titanic set sail today back in 1912! Quite the anniversary...huh? Thank you again for your understanding and as always... Stay Fabulous! RG59061 Member: Aerospace Consortium

If I'm not mistaken...the prize of Voltaire's contest is selecting a livery for the Boeing 747-400 model that was co-developed by both he and ACE? ACE has been asked about modeling the Airbus A380 many times already and he has always stated that he has "no plans" on modeling it. If I may ask everyone...please do not request the A380 of ACE or Voltaire at this time. Both are extremely busy finalizing the Boeing 747, 737, CRJ-700, aswell as ACEs new Terminal packs and Voltaire's continued growth with his RMIP packs. Believe me, there will be other planes coming in the future and they will certainly be worth the wait...but at the time being, the A380 is not going to be one of them. Thanks for your understanding everyone and stay tuned for more updates. Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Hello All! Foxtrot, have you installed ALL of the RMIP packs that are available for download. They do actualy build off of the previous version that was released before it and if you are missing one, it could cause the effects that you are experiencing. This is just a theory, but I have installed every one of Voltaire's RMIP packs, and I haven't had a single problem. Let me know either way ok? Feliwi, the 747s you have been seeing are tests and rederings that Voltiare has shown as Teasers for the project. as stated above, they have not been released yet but please stay tuned for more information. To all, believe me when I tell you that the project is not dead. Voltaire has been working very hard with ACE and the rest of the Team to put together some stunning pacakges. The 747s are recieving final tweaks and the gates are being finalized as well to better complement the 747. Voltaire has alse re-done the 747 model to more correctly model the 747-100 varinat and he is tweaking the 747-400 model as well. He and ACE are also finalizing textures for the 747s and for ACE's Canadair CRJ-700 Regional Jets. After these are completed, many more great things will be coming down the pipe...I promise you that the wait will be well worth it! All I can ask is that everyone please be patient, Voltaire and ACE are unwilling to sacrifice the quality of their work just to put them up on the STEX. They will continue to finese and work the models until absolutely satisfied with their authenticity and realism. Please stay tuned, because this project is far from Dead...in fact, there is plenty more ahead. Remember, Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Cingmot, You can have the Boeing 720 land at your smaller RMIP airports, but the lot you need is not a RMIP lot. I believe that Voltaire was going to make a Large Jet Runway segment in his Large Runway set coming up, but that has been delayed by real life and some of his other projects. Until that time, or if you prefer to use the smaller narrow runway like the maxi pre fab, I believe you have to use a piece that comes in the SWAP runway pack. They are just like the small jet and mid-prop animation tiles offered in RMIP, but they don't have the clean edge like Voltaire's pack does, they instead have rough dirt edges. Hardly noticeable if done right, plus you should also see the 767 animation and have that taking off at your airport. I am not 100%, but I am pretty confident that it is with Xiziz's SWAP pack. You can easily find it here: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=2&Keyword=Airport&type=all# I hope this answers your question and good luck! Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Voltaire, I must say, the Braniff 720 loks fantastic in SC4. It is a great alternative to the original model and I am quite impressed with the quality of the model. You have really outdone yourself. I am just glad the research material proved useful. You got the colors down perfectly! I can't wait to also see these along side the 747 once that is released by Ace. I look forward to working with you on your next project, feel free to let me know once you are ready. Just thought I would drop by and give my two cents! Stay Fabulous! RG59061

My Pleasure Delta, Sorry about that by the way, I only saw 2 posts, well you know what happens when you assume? Anyway, to make models with the open Cargo hatch on the nose or side doors would require ACE to go back and re create the model and thenthe Liveries would be re-done to match. I guess it is possible, but I can't speak for ACE or Voltaire on that one. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask and I'll tey and answer what I can. Remember, Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Hello Delta and welcome to Simtropolis! In response to your question about the 747-400F Freighter, all I can say is that Freighter liveries will be used on the 747 model once the final details are worked out completely between ACE and Voltaire. Both ACE and Voltaire are the masterminds behind making the 747-400 work so well. ACE developed the model and Voltaire assisted in perfecting the Liveries. I help supply all of the materials necessary for Voltaire to produce the liveries that he creates, and I must say his work is stunning. I have submitted to Voltaire several cargo liveries for the 747-400F including UPS, CargoLux, JAL Cargo, and Northwest Cargo to name a few. But, it is possible more may be in the works. Now that ACE is also developing the CRJ Regional Jet Line, I'll have to get cracking on some regional jet liveries. All I can say is keep checking back once and a awhile, I know that you shant be dissapointed. Remember, Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Dear Yoman3, Actually, all three of the airlines represented on Ace & Voltaire's Boeing 747 are no longer in service. TWA (Trans World Airlines) ceased operations in 2000 when they were acquired by AMR Corp. (American Airlines) PanAm ended operations in the early 90s and sold their assets to Delta Airlines. Braniff International (My Personal Favorite!) Ended mainstream operations in the 1980s but resurfaced two more times in various forms before completely ceasing operations. Rumor has it that more liveries are on the way...but they are just that...rumors. I'll let Ace and Voltaire decide if they want to make more and which ones they will make.

Dear Voltaire, I really do appreciate you taking the time to view and comment on this Voltaire. I look forward to reading your critique and I value your expertise on this matter. It is nice to finally meet someone as passionate about civil aviation as I. I am also extremely excited to read that you will be creating and releasing multiple skins for the Boeing 707 and Douglas DC-7 respectively. I and many others here can not wait. I do have one question however. A time ago, re-skins were released for the Train Automata by both Big Red Fish and Trolca. Part of the deal was that you could insert the skins into the Plug In folder and they would appear randomly in the game. So, my question is, will it be possible to have your skins appear randomly at the gate in the livery's created or will it only be one livery only? It is certainly less realistic having nothing but a sea of the exact smae plane in the same scheme all over your aiport. Just curious though, if this is not possible, I completely understand. I really do wish that there was something that I could do to assist you in your endeavour, but I posess no BAT skills whatsoever. Right now it seems, I am only able to give moral support and encouragement. But, if that is what I can do, then so be it! Again, thank you so much Voltaire, and please send my regards and thanks to Ace as well. With the work that both of you have done, Sim City4 has become a new and more interesting game all over again. Please, Stay Fabulous! With sincere regards and respect, RG59061

I must say Voltaire, I am with Pixelrage and Blahdy on this one. Your KLM Douglas DC-7 looks spot on and the orange caution cones are a magnificent touch. They really add the right detail to the walkway. Forgive me for being forward on this one, but would it be possible to request this same DC-7 or even the Boeing 707 you re-skinned to be done in the classic Pan American World Airways livery? (However, if you re-skin the 707, I think the 1960s scheme with the single blue stripe down the side would be more appropriate). I really miss seing PanAm planes flying these days. PanAm, Brannif, Western, National, and even TWA all represented a time when the airlines of America were focused more on passanger service, comfort, amenities, oppulence, and style then today where a handfull of giants bicker over rising fuel prices and instead cut customer service to compete. Oh well, hopefully they will learn or we will all return to the days of rail travel. I'm sure I am not the only one who feels this way. Well, take care my good friend and as always, keep up the fantastic work! Stay Fabulous! RG59061 P.S. Voltaire, could I also get your opinion on my two recent airports that I have built using both your and Ace's airport packs? I have posted them in the "Show Us Your Airport" page and they are on page 10. If you don't mind. Thanks!

Well, I have begun work on my newest Airport and I felt it was time to show it to you. So, please enjoy the new, Juan T. Trippe International Airport, gateway to the scenic beauty of future Clarksville. Juan T. Trippe International Airport is named for the incredible visionary and founder of Pan American World Airways or PanAm for short. Juan T. Trippe airport is built on an island to save valueable land mass on the main land and to reduce noise pollution. This is by far the most famous photo of Juan T. Trippe as he views the globe in his office and plots out the newest routes for his brainchild, Pan American World Airways or PanAm. Next to Juan Trippe is a photo of a Pan Am Lockheed L-1011 taking of out of LAX back in 1984. I have used Ace and Voltaire's new 707 designed ramps. I must say that the results are apparent and quite spectacular! Juan T. Trippe International has a total of 6 Concourse's with 2 dedicated to Regional flights and 4 for Domestic flights. You are currently viewing Concourse B & C, two of the Domestic concourse's. The sun has begun to set on Trippe International as we pan over to view Concourse A, one of the two Regional concourse's. This is Concourse A and like its counterpart Concourse F, is primarily serviced by BAE-146 Regional Jets but as pictured the ocaissonal turbo-prop arrives like this heavily upgraded and modified Lockheed Constellation. You are new viewing the Robert E. Gallion International Terminal of the Juan T. Trippe International Airport. This terminal was named for the newly elected mayor of Clarksville and for his spearheading of the plans to build Trippe International Airport. This terminal controls all of Trippe International's International operations including Customs and International ground traffic. The International ATCT can also supplement the main ATCT located in the main terminal when needed. Finally, I wanted to show you the detail that comes with both Voltaire and Ace's new Airport Packs. This image shows the incredible night lighting from Voltaire's RIMP-2 taxiways and runways and you can still see all of the beauty of Ace's terminal and jetway's. If you still ahve not downloaded Ace and Voltaire's packs yet...PLEASE DO! As I have already said to them before, their work has earned an 11 out of 10! because, just like the band Spinal Tap, this scale goes to 11! Well, I hope you enjoyed viewing the new Juan T. Trippe International Airport and please feel free to leave your questions, comments, and feedback! Thank you all! Remember, Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Thanks for the Bunny Votaire. I am glad to hear that you will be releasing the 707 Re-Skin in the future. I am really looking forward to having an even more realistic & retro Airport. I must also say, thank you for the work you are doing on the "Mid-Prop". Shortening and shrinking the nose has made it look more like the real 1950s Lockheed Constellation that it is modeled after. Although, the plane is missing two of the three vertical stabilizers on the tail structure. Do you plan on adding those back in; or are you planning on converting this from a "Connie" into a Douglas DC-6 or a Lockheed Electra? All in all though, fantastic work as ever! You still get an 11 in my book! (Thank You Spinal Tap!) Take care Voltaire! (Hey, that rhymes!) Sincerely, RG59061

You will want t download the Ace Airport Pack which contains all of the terminal buildings that you are looking for. On the STEX Exchange, if you enter ace_bovenopdeberg into the search field, it should take you straight to them. I hope that this helps and enjoy! Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Hey Xiziz, I figured out what the problem has been this entire time. I have been posting the images in PNG format and not JPEG format. I converted one to JPEG using Adobe Photoshop, hosted it on Imageshack, and then reposted it in my post. Wouldn't you know it, problem solved. Thanks again for your help in troubleshooting this matter. Stay Fabulous! RG59061

Thanks for the help on this one Xiziz! I have registered and re-uploaded my photos from Imageshack, but to no avail. I don't know what is going on her, because an image I used in another post of mine to Voltaire in his RMIP-2 Discussion is up, visible, and I can see it. Although, that is a picutre I found on the internet, not one I have tried to upload. Also, in te future, I'll be happy to minimize the control menu and UDI icons. In response to the location of the ATCT, I am actually modifying the layout of the terminal and that includes moving the ATCT behind the terminal into a position similar to that seen at LAX or McCarran International Airport here in Las Vegas, NV. Also, I have moved my Parking structures and created a connection between them and the terminal building and in the place of the Brannif International Marriot Hotel, I have instead erected a memorial to the United and American Airlines passangers who lost their lives in the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. I felt that sort of monument was far more appropriate than a Hotel. In fact, I'll try uploading a picture of it and see if this works now. You can see now that the ATCT has been relocated behind the terminal and is now easier to access. Secondly, you can easily see the 9/11 Memorial located to the right of the ATCT. Also, you can now see the new locations of the Airport Omni Hotel & Spa, the Brannif International Marriot Hotel and the brand new Ritz-Carlton Fairdale. And here is a better close-up of what you saw above. Well, I hope you all enjoy, and I'll keep you updated on any further changes or expansions when they happen. Take care and stay fabulous! RG59061

Xiziz, I am glad that you can see my images. I guess it is something on my end. Whenever I load this page of the discussion with my own images, they appear as the page is loading, but once the page finishes loading, they dissapear. I am not sure if it is a problem on my end with my settings or if it is something all together different. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Also, I was not registered at Imageshack, but I have now so hopefully it will be easier to upload new images. Thanks for your help. RG59061

Ok, I apparently am having trouble posting the images of Braniff International. I have hosted them on Imageshack and then copied the URL into the topic as an image. However, the images are unstable and dissapear as soon as the page loads. Any suggestions? Thanks again. RG59061
