    Thanks Tropod & Newyorkrunaway1, For the Highway transition, i meant the extended diagonal transition. What do you mean when you say interchange base item?
  2. NAM General Discussion Thread

    Hello, I have a question: I downloaded the newest NAM and i want to make sure that i have all the puzzle pieces. I seem to be missing the following: 1. Elevated heavy rail diagonal, 2. Elevated heavy rail diagonal over the other networks, 3. Elevated heavy rail diagonal to elevated heavy rail orthogonal transition, 4. Elevated road, avenue & one way diagonal to their respective orthogonal pieces transition. Are these in, and if so could someone point me to an answer why i don't seem to have them. I seem to understand that older NAM files could be culprits but i have a very well organized plugins folder and i'm fairely certain that i cleaned everything before instaling the new version. If they're not in (yet?) do you guys plan on introducing them, or maybe even better, are they in the works? I would also want to point out (maybe you missed it) that there seem not to be a elongated ground to elevated highway piece when the transition is done diagonally. Of course please do not take it as a rant, i do find that you guys & gals of the NAM have done such a terrific job. Oh, and thank you for the NAM/GLR/ATL.

    I have so many of your creations, its like another game alltogether. This one is definitly going in my city. Just another beautiful PEG creation.
  5. BSC Prop Packs and Textures.

    Hello, Having downloaded the megapacks lately in replacement to what i had, i get two strange problems: 1. Depending on the sight angle one of your props is showing missing (you know the brown box), i think its a red & white cart/parasol thingy in the lemon stand extra lot (the 1x2 or 1x3 reward- i'm not at home so i can't chek right now) 2. Depending on zoom level some of your farms have a texture at their entrance that changes from a dirt road to an asphalt road. This is odd as sometimes they show sometimes they don't, and since they do show sometimes, i necesserely have the prop or texture in question. Do you guys & gals have any clue why it might happen Redan
  6. Hello Jeronij Although i have no clue of what you're talking about (well actually i do but have no clue for an answer), i feel bad when posts remain without answer. So if for nothing else, at least for my own good karma i'm replying to you. But i do hope that the mod gods will answer you. Actually, it just came to my mind that if you post your question in your CJ you'll have more chance that those who know will stumble upon it, and answer you. Redan Edit: another thing came to my mind, maybe it has somthing to do with lot foundation, but don't take my word for it, i'm really not very good at it.

    Hi, Your terminal looks great, and i think your idea of several lots to make realistic connectable airport bats would be just great. This would complement Joerg airport pack really nicely. I think this is what was really missing in his pack. Redan

    Your lots should work normaly even if in subfolders, it's just for the PM that you need them out of subfolders.

    Hi the_SIMtastik_One I don't know why your lot doesn't show up in game (it might have to do with not enough demand for that particular lot, as it might have to do with the fact that there is a lot of lots that are 1x2, and you'll have to wait for it), but i'm fairly sure that for your model to show up in the Plugin Manager it has to be in the game's Plugins folder and not in a subfolder. As i understand things, the PM only reads stuff that are in the plugins folder directly. But wait for some one more experianced than me to confirm this.   11. Lot Editor - Help

    Hello, Its my 2nd post, although i have been lurking here on and off for the past 2 years. I find this site amazing. I just started using the lot editor and the PIM to turn some of the landmarks into growables for my own use. my problem is that whenever i change the building in alot to the one i downloaded the lot editor changes the growth stage to a higher value than i wanted. I have been looking evrywhere in here for an answer (i now know that the downloaded building being bigger than the original in the lot im editing changes the stage) of how to stick with the stage i want. alternatively, in the ilive reader looking in the SC4lot exemplar file there is a field called growth stage but it gives me a value 0x07 and this has no meaning in hex vs dec numbers. How can i edit this number so that my lot appears in game at the stage i want. Thanks for the answer Redan
