The North Frisian Islands are located in the border zone from Denmark and Germany (10 in Denmark and 14 in Germany). The biggest islands are: Fanø, Manø, Rømø, Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Pellworm and Nordstrand (although Nordstand is only a peninsula). Tow of them, Rømø and Sylt, have a connection to the mainland.(Sylt bytrain, Romø bycar). But Nroth Frisian is famous for their holms called Halligen: Oland, Langeneß, Habel, Gröde, Hooge, Norderoog, Süderoog, Südfall and Nordstandischmoor. (This is my first file!) This is the Jumeirah Palm from Dubai. This is the first of four land reclamation projects. The constuction beginn was 2001. It is nearly completed.
