Hello guys, I am very interested in city-planning, building, etc. (Even in real life) Anyways one question I have stuck in my mind is about transit. I know buses don't need a loop system, but for a rail system, or subway network is what I am confused about, does it need a loop to make it function, or can I make it from point A to point B. Also how can I learn about making transit maps (fundamentals, not drawing). If my post is not understandable, forgive me for this.

Yes I would pretty much like that idea, because you'll have a more feel of a mayor. Groups/developers can come up with a proposal of their project, or join your city for something, etc. That would be great.

Well, that's true also, and I agree with that, but I just wanted a tax revenue coming from seaports and airports as well since they bring in some money for cities.

I was quite baffled as to why the Maxis Seaport, Airport, etc. Does not generate any revenue towards the city budget. They are only beneficial towards raising demands for businesses, and whatnot. How come they don't generate any revenue? I think it's illogical having to pay monthly for a seaport, airport, etc just so they can raise demands, but not revenue. This is weird, because you can't really do much without having to get red in your budget books. You can only do so much. Any thoughts on this?

Don't talk about Oakland like that. Oakland is a very wonderful city to live in. It's not exactly the bullet-ridden city the media/people wants you to think. It has nice communities, great architecture, good historic areas, great transportation, etc. It has a big potential to having a great future. I just hate how San Francisco overshadows everything in, and around the Bay Area. They don't own everything... Anyways to stay on topic, I would choose San Francisco since it's beautiful also, but I don't like the liberal feature of it, and I pretty much haven't stayed in Los Angeles for quite a while for me to weight in any comparison.
