I've taken some closeups showing some different areas of Halifax. Again, the city consists mainly of medium to high density housing. This is the port annex area. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120432519.JPG align=baseline> Some of the surrounding residential and commercial areas. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120432632.JPG align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120432909.JPG align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120432963.JPG align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433148.JPG align=baseline> This area of town sits on a bluff over-looking the bay and city. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433200.JPG align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433235.JPG align=baseline> One of the shopping centers that serve the neighborhoods. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433307.JPG align=baseline> Downtown and the financial district. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433363.JPG align=baseline> Central Station and the Bay Ferry. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433413.JPG align=baseline> This hillside residential area sits across the bay from Halifax. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Halifax-Aug.%2013,%202131120433457.JPG align=baseline>

That Spanish coffee sounded great. I drink Pilon.

Hey Bobinator, I know how time can become an issue with building a region like yours. As it grows it takes more time to think and plan, and analyze each new addition. Looking forward to your next update.
-
As usual, a piece of art! Your scenes are always so peasefull and bucolic. I can imagine walking up the hill through the grass towards the building. The narrow roads/paths and round abouts. Where are they found?
-
Woa! Love the downtown and canals.
-
Thanks for stopping by! Keep in mind that there are a couple of dozen high rises in that beach area, as well as a little farther up the coast. You'll see that same thing in many suburban areas like Atlanta's beltway.

Oroen: Thanks! It takes me a lot of time to do verbiage so it may not be in every post. PhilsCafe: The episode about the tower actually was out of my childhood. We would sit at the foot of an old tower on a hill above a old mental hospital in my home town. andrew george: Thanks. I will be doing another article shortly. Jacqulina: Thanks for the continued input. aasim45: Glad you like the cj. Cjah: Thank you for that comment! You

Looks like your city is coming along nicely. Great pictures and some nice details. -
10,000 Views!!! Hey, belated congrats on a real milestone! Great work and cj.
-
A refreshing change from most cj's. Makes me want to take a stroll through those winding streets.
-
You've added some nice touches there. Very interesting journal.
-
Yes, very nice from what you've shown so far. A full city or regional picture would be nice.
-
Interesting putting two streets together. How is that working out for you, rhf? I like the strip parks you've used to separate some of your zones.
-
Aim high, I say!
-
Very entertaining and pleasing to the eye as well!
