    I haven't seen anything like that ingame, but if you click on a building it will tell you where they travel from/to. Hope it helps

    Some seriously good screenies there. I play online at the moment but I think the Single player is a little lacklustre compared to SC4, since you have to go with a tiny amount of maps that are available.
  3. Hey all Now I have decided to finally plan a city instead of just zoning masses of commercial and stuff. I have created a map and I am considering using big bits of paper for the different islands I have and just using my imagination to create a street plan, using google maps as a reference so I can compare cities. How do you plan your cities, I would love to share ideas, and it would help me a lot Also, Do you have any tips to help make my city more realistic? Since im British I probably have different ideas to Americans but I would really like to hear your tips! Cheers PS if you need to see my map just ask and I'll post a screenie.

    Well here in the UK there are industrial parks on the outskirts of the cities and Office parks in the suburbs. I have that mod that lines streets with trees too, it is a nice touch. I will post some screenshots of my progress later on. It is possible to have a city with no industry but a whole region would be very hard. If you used the industry quadrupler mod (I dont use it any more) it would help that a lot.

  8. Heres the busiest road where I live, Shetland, Scotland, UK. There are a total of 2 proper roundabouts 3 sets of traffic lights and a mini roundabout in the whole island! And a bit snowy in this one

    I never plop, I just bulldoze what I dont like until the one I want grows Thanks for all the ideas, I'm going to make a start now and I might start a CJ to show my progress!

    So I should plan my centres roads and not connect the roads until I fill in the outskirts, so basically just do the suburbs and industrial estates first.

    So maybe I should zone all my city low and medium and only when I have no space left I will then zone high density to be most realistic. Thanks for all the ideas!

    Most laptops arent made for games, if he only does internet and such on his then why does he have 4 gb of ram and is upgrading to a 2.2? I always favour nvidia so I would pinch his because all his specs are better.

    Its pretty hard to 'upgrade' a laptop, all you can really do is the memory.

    I dont see how you can go bankrupt, its so easy to get millions without cheating... just put in services when they are needed instead of all at once and you'll be fine
