Originally posted by: Kevin Ar18 Guess you'll have to go with the tech support: https://www.citiesxl.com/index.php?option=com_account&task=issuelist&Itemid=107 Your installation folder should be somewhere like C:\Program Files\etc....\etc.... Right click on the game shortcut, pick properties, and look at where it points to for the exact folder and file locations. quote> I have already tryed tech support, never got an answer again. its been multible weeks now. Iv'e tryed to find the folder through game shortcut properties, but i just get directed to the steam main folder.

Originally posted by: Kevin Ar18 One option you could try is to look in your citiesxl program directory for the patch exe programs. There are probably several. * Copy those patch installers * Remove CitiesXL * Re-install CitiesXL * Copy the patch installers back into the new CitiesXL program directory * Run the patches in order. Anyways, may be worth a try.quote> i have already tried to remove/re-install the game. What is the CXL folder called with the patches in it? This might seem pretty stupid, but i show you exactly what happends. And these are the messages i get... After this message does nothing happend. Thanks -Brooney

the game keeps telling me i need a new version of the game to install the latest patch, i get the same message multiple time, but says i need a even more new version each time??? does this even make sense??? i bought the game on steam.

Originally posted by: etatauri I don't think its cumulative. At least until they release a 'service pack'. When I look at the update screen I can see that it needs to sequentially update (361 to 361b to 362.. etc). Whats annoying with this in Windows 7 is that each time a build updates I need to give administrative privilege to each of those updates.quote> This is what happens to me. The link to a help thread above does not work for me, i don't have those folders, because i downloaded the game on STEAM...
