I've looked High and low but I've never been able to find a Map of Pern. I'm a big fan of the series And would love to play a map based off of the Northern continent. I have found a good color map of Pern with out labels that would make the task much easier. Here is the Link to the map. I don't care if the person that makes the map can't get the rivers. I'll be happy to get a good map that gives me the ruggedness that the books describe. The site also has other images that could be useful in producing a map. I personally would like the region to be at least 4 large tiles tall and 8 large tiles long. here is an image of the area I'm intrested in for the Map. The Area in White just happens to be Ice but the area is described as a rugged, barren region with fijords along the coast. PM me if you need anymore details or you complete the Region. I most certintly will download the map. Thank You

 I like the CJ so far its an interesting project posting it in two languages.  the only thing i would say is to make sure your images stay with in the 800x600 size requirement.  That way your readers don't need to scroll back and forth.  I'm sure it must be a mistake since your previous images were smaller.  other then that good work

I've only gotten up to 80,000 or so on a small map. But I agree with A Nonny Moose that its funner to play a more realistic city then 100% skyscraper jungle.

Here is a new version. After looking at it I really didn't like the white look of the newspaper. So I gave it a grey color. So please let me know if you like the new color more then the old one.

I'm working on creating a City Journal and I would like to tell the story through a Newspaper layout. I've seen others make newspapers for their CJ but I've never seen one done exclusively by a newspaper layout. Before I start posting I would like to get feedback on the idea. Here is a Sample of what it looks like now. My main concerns are: Are the articles easy enough to read, Looks and feels like a newspaper. I appreciate any feedback. I'm sorry if this belongs in a different section of the forum.

I love SimTower. I tried to install it like a month ago and It works but I can't seem to get anybody to transfer from 1 set of elevators to the next. So I can't get a tower over 30 stories tall.

I agree with His Divine Hand with the middle class residents. And your problem might be that your city has no connecting cities(at least by the looks of it) and could be the source of your negative demand for jobs. I personally would connect to "SimNation" and that might increase the demand.

I hope they keep the breweries open. There are not a lot of jobs in my area and Anheuser-Busch is one of the bigger companies. And If I'm not mistaken employees at least 2000 people if not more. Stuff like that just starts a chain reaction in some areas. I won't go into details but just not good for all those involved.
