Benedict - Thanks They're images, and yeah they were meant to make this CJ look professional ZeThomashawk - Thanks for your comment! And your link Since the last update wasn't exactly the most popular, I decided to post the newer one a little early Monday again. To help fit in with the rest of the office, and to get to know Centreburg better, my boss, colleagues and I went out to lunch together at Harbinger Pier, where they had some really nice seafood lunches. Not to mention I had a great bonding time with my colleagues. While the rest wanted to stay and relax until the lunch break was over, I had to go back to the office a little earlier to settle some of my files. Walking back, I heard someone call my name, and I instinctively turned around. Sara, the red-haired, ultra-friendly and loud co-worker which worked in the same department, was running towards me. "Glad I caught up with you. You going to the office?" she said, a little short of breath. "Uh... yeah?" I was a little stunned, but happy that I someone actually bothered enough abou tme. "Okay let's go back then." And then she waited for me to start walking. The sea breeze was nice and light, as Sara and I began to talk about everything under the sun, which meant her family, upbringing and education. Through that talk I had learnt that she studied in Ann Arbor, Michigan and had come back to work. When she asked about me, we had already reached the office, and decided to delay that conversation to another time. "I'll look for you at 6?" she said? Then she turned and walked away, leaving me stunned again. So there i was, at 7:30, sitting in a posh bar, downing beers with Sara and another friend of hers, Hillary. Clement's was apparently a dive bar, and usually graced the patronage of the famous and well-heeled. I felt a little out of place there, but soon forgot all about it as the three of us had a great conversation. The night view of the Centreburg skyline continued to awe me as I looked out the window. The lights, the glitz, the glamour, all left me amazed. As the night went on, the three of us somehow came to the conclusion that we should probably go home. I found it a hassle to take the train or the bus, and simply hailed a cab to go home. Along the way, I passed by the Parliament Building. Beautifully lit at night, it stood out, like a magnificent edifice, around its surroundings. Comments appreciated!

I like what i see But I think there's an issue with the yacht area, where the boardwalk has the brick foundation at the bottom

TekindusT - Thanks! There're some houses on sale, you know TowerDude - Thanks supermec - Thanks Thomaskrules - Well it WAS new stuff... the00guvna - Thanks Pipcard - Thanks! That building is in the STEX somewhere, can't remember what it is though... StreetxROBLOX - Thanks ZeThomashawk - It's the SFBT Urban Highway Set, found here Today was a rainy day in Centreburg. The sky was stormy and the rain kept on coming down relentlessly. Everybody ducked for cover under buildings and shelters, looking for a refuge from the cold rain. Fortunately for me, though, I was enjoying my time in the little suburbs that surrounded the city. Being the weekend, I had a little time to myself, and took a "whistle-stop tour" on the commuter trains. Ravengrove was one of the first which interested me, and i decided to do a little shopping here. Bayen Gulf also had a really nice shopping street. The coffee at one of their local cafes was really fantastic, and I had a good time just watching people pass by, busy with their own activities. Not before long, i reached Maplesport. Located on the northern side of the Gulf of Centreburg, it was home to a cruise ship terminal, that was rather busy. Also, it had a beautiful waterfront, and all sorts of little kiosks and shops had sprung up along the boardwalk, selling all their little wares, as well as food and drink. By the time i was finished with the place, the sun had already begun to set, and I left for home. By the time I left Maplesport, the lights had all come on, and the city's nightlife had begun. Reluctantly, I left for home.

Benedict - Thanks You're doing a great job with your top 10 NMUSpidey - Thanks as well! zahrul3 - Haha Thanks TekindusT - Thanks The Madison Square garden building is a nice building on its own, let alone a downtown! Knocking off time! Just before I left the office, I received a set of keys, which would be the for the house I was to live in. It was in the neighbouring area of South Rhodes, and apparently it was already furnished, decked out and ready for me to live in. I set off for a new home. The fastest way was to take the commuter rail, the MetroRail, from the Bradley Jonson Terminus to the north of the downtown district. To get there, I had to walk past the Downtown Park, smack in the middle of the city. It had a really nice lake. Not before long, I reached the Wall, and eventually, the terminus. I almost couldn't resist the urge to stay in the park for a little while longer. The lake, the birds, the sounds of nature and kids running around almost coerced me to stay in the park and wait a while more. A mere 15 minute ride by train was all I needed to reach the station in South Rhodes, where I alighted and had a brief look at the map, so that I would know where to go and how to get to my house. Even though there was a taxi stand where I could just hail a cab and take a ride home, I decided to explore the place by foot and walk home. There it was, No. 29 Westchester Boulevard. The simple 2-storey house was flanked with large trees at the back and by the side, and the street it lay on also had plenty of mature pines, okas and conifers. This was it. I was home.

NMUSpidey - Thanks for everything! I've got the next five or so updates covered, so don't worry TekindusT - Thanks Bipin - It took a while to build all of this... Thanks nathanthemayor - It's a prop. The file is SCAG's, probably on the STEX or LEX somewhere... Aaron Graham - Thanks the00guvna - Thanks too mrdazza_460 - Thanks The pictures are originally 1024x768 and since the size has been reduced, the sharpness has been increased The meeting took hours, and I was finally let off from the building around 8:30. By that time, the sky had turned dark, and the skyline instantly transformed into one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. All the lights on the tower, the sound of the sea pounding the sea wall and the deck had me mesmerised. And even though I was suffering from jet lag, I decided to walk around the area to capture all the beautiful scenery around me. Nevertheless, I had to check into the hotel by 10. Had a really good sleep in the hotel, and I almost forgot to wake up to go to the office again. It would only be a couple more days before I could sleep in my own home. Well, at least a rented home. This was the first day I had ever commuted in Centreburg. Before leaving the hotel, I had to find out how to go back to the Savier Building, and I wanted to take the public transport to work to experience first hand life in Corraile. Lucky for me, there was a direct bus there. On the way, I had to pass by the Parliament Building near downtown. ...and the large indoor hall in town. I could't remember the name though, although I could see that it was also a concert venue.

Vivydu29 - Thanks! Stay tuned for more then Thomaskrules - Thanks, Thomas TekindusT - Thanks so much! Evillions - Yep, I agree Mastof - Heheh, party? The00guvna - Thanks! Whew, what a long flight. Crossing the pacific was so boring, even with all the in-flight entertainment onboard. But I'm here, after a long, 16-hour flight from Sydney, to begin a new life, and a new job, in Corraile. Immigration took a while... The queues were horrendous. Jumbo jet after jumbo jet came from everywhere, from Timbuktu to London, and the passengers were spilling over everywhere. Took about 2 hours to get my passport stamped, my bag retrieved and to get a taxi. I was headed for the downtown offices of Glaxtonbury Enterprises, which I was working for in Sydney before I was transferred to Centreburg. They had their offices in some 75 storey tower by the Bay of Centreburg in the downtown area. Going there would take a while, even on the highway, which was surprisingly empty today. The tall towers I saw along the way signified the entry to the downtown area. It was the famous "wall of skyscrapers" that greeted every new entrant to the downtown area. The entire row was packed full of skyscrapers, and immediately behind it was Downtown park. By the time I got to the offices, the sun had already begun to set (and it was only 5:45pm!). The taxi let me off at the lobby of the Savier Building, that tower of the left with the humongous arrow-shaped thingy on the top. I went in to meet the head of operations in North America to report that I had arrived in one piece and to receive my expatriate's allowances.

Like Airline Empires, Airline Mogul is a game where you run your own airline. From Timbuktu to Atlanta (My main base), there are gates available. Also, there are thousands of both private and public worlds. When I have enough credits, I can start a world for all Simtropolitans. For now, though, you guys have to play in others' worlds. Look out for long worlds with good starting aircraft (like the 737, or other jets), long game time and the full world, as well having no passwords. I would suggest ATRs as a good aircraft to buy after starting out. Link is HERE BTW, if you're lucky, you may find passwords @ the AM Forums

The Republic of Corraile - Come over to Corraile 2010! [AIN]

No.1 - At the forefront of the Atlantic Ocean To start off, I'll give you a brief history of the founding of the peninsula... In 1820, while on the way to Canada, British Trader William Hargreaves stumbled upon the peninsula, along with his German counterpart Otto Strauss. After some squabbling between the British & German governments, they decided to halve the peninsula North-South... Which explains why the southern cities and areas have GERMAN names while the Northern Coast areas have predominantly English names. At the end of WWI, the German region was ceded permanently to the British. In 1970, the country we know today as Corraile attained Independence. Enough of history. As a unique feature to CJs, Corraile is offering CITIZENSHIPS! Yes... Citizenships. You would be wondering, what difference does it make? The list below shows you. Citizens can -Vote for the government when its election time -Get a residence of their own (Avatars in game extra... But its free too!) -Have their say noted in important decisions in Parliament -Even get to be a minister, district head or mayor! Non citizens do not enjoy such benefits, but they can still follow along the CJ. Those with more than 20 posts become PRs! This means that they enjoy benefits of citizens! (Except, voting, and ascension into positions of power) Where should we start? Centreburg Capital. Largest city. Colganston the city all geared up to be a host of the Simlympics! At the tip of the peninsula, where the founders landed. Highvale Ex-colonial capital of British Corraile. Smallest of the 3 urban areas. (farms not included) Oh! One last thing. For Citizenship applications, please PM me. The application results will be released on the next respective update. Thanks! -
Its really frustrating when nobody ever comments or reads your CJ. Not that I don't try, nobody cares. Really. (Expletive deleted)

No.27 - Quickie update Replies Flann - Um... Thanks? I appreciate the comment, though! A couple of weeks passed by. Michael found himself playing golf with his boss. And, as some may have expected, he was playing as his caddy. "So, Gowan, have you ever thought of going overseas?" "I've never done that, sir, although I would like to." "Good. We need a translator in Solando for a few days to help seal up a deal. Will you go?" "Sure, why not?" "WHAT? GO OVERSEAS? And leave me alone?" "Its only a few days..." Will Michael go? Stay tuned. I would like to take an opportunity to show off Highvale International Airport. its the 2nd largest Airport in the Corrailite Peninsula after Centreburg Gateway. An overview of the airport. It receives large international flights from places like Paris, courtesy of Air France. And flights from the US, brought to you by your favourite Legacy Carrier. As with many other large airports, Highvale International Airport is expanding. The expansion will allow for 6 more gates, for increased capacity and efficiency. Thanks for stopping by, an do remember to comment! -
@jeiman2008 - Yup. But mine's FS9

I would say Hong Kong Kai Tak airport. Its closed now, sadly, but when it was open, the landings were even better than those at TNCM, because it was a 47 degree turn to the runway at just a few hundred feet of the ground, over a dense area in Kowloon. Throw in a 747, and you have the best landing in the world, which looks something like this:

No.26 - Exploring Replies Archean - Yep. And, lets say its not a pleasant experience. I will be covering it over a few updates, so... Flann - Thanks! I appreciate it Benedict - Thanks too. Now when do I make it to the +10? So what happened in school? It so happened that Sara had met a guy. Mike was a baseball player with the school team, with good grades and all of that, so much so he was poised to become valedictorian when he graduated. When they met, they instantly connected. They were often seen hanging out together at Sophiane Avenue, the shopping area in Highvale. Even Joanna seemed not to mind. She felt such relationships were constructive, especially when Mike looked like a good person with a bright future. She herself had begun on a "revitalisation" campaign to try and explore the place she was living in. Highvale was great, but how did the suburbs look like. Was there anything special around? The mobility the Yaris afforded gave her the excuse to cruise around and explore the city more. She left the Highvale city centre and drove to South Claireville, a small suburb which fed into Highvale. This suburb had a special landmark. The old Highvale Airport was temporarily being used as a general aviation field, while the terminal was being pulled down. She took a particular interest in the general aviation area, with its assortment of helicopters, fireplanes and light planes. As well as the threshold of the old runway, largely closed to traffic. She also took other shots of the city: Then, as a way to stave off boredom, she also took up long-term stock trading, at the CI&CI (Corraile Industrial & Commerce Index) That's all there is for now. Thanks for dropping by, and I do appreciate comments -
It was alright until like today, when the automata suddenly goes much faster than usual. Yes, it is at turtle speed. Can somebody help?

No.25 - Starting up Replies TekindusT - Thanks! Thank Photoshop too... Archean - Yeah, rough, but he did it for a better life. Days passed. Many things happened over the few days. The family received their furniture (majority from Ikea) and began to settle in. The kids also felt welcome into the new urban environment they were immersed in. Interviews left Michael tired and dull, yet full of anticipation like a little child at Christmas. Today, he was scheduled to go for one last interview. The meeting went till evening. "vous etes embauche" "merci, merci." And it ended well, spectacularly well, Michael thought, as he walked to the tram station for the commute home. The fact he was hired made him full of joy, with just one snag: speaking French everyday, a language he detested. The next day brought great hope for the family, especially about better times ahead. Joanna set about for a new mission - Buying a car. She set off for a few second-hand car delaers she had found on Google and went about looking for the best deal. And she came out driving this: That's a 2010 Toyota Yaris, for those who want to know Meanwhile, something happened at the Bearingham High School, which would test the family's unity and togetherness... Thanks for watching! Feel free to comment...
