  1. Show us Your Interchanges!

For anyone familiar with the L.A. area, this is the 405 & 101 Interchange in the San Fernando Valley. These are two of Southern California's busiest freeways. 405 Approaching 101 from South 405 and 101 Interchange Looking South
  2. Show us Your Interchanges!

Here are several pictures of interchanges from my recreation of Greater Los Angeles. If any of you are familiar with the San Fernando Valley area in L.A.,the first and second photos feature the intersection between the 101 Frwy & Van Nuys Blvd, the third - 405 Frwy. & Burbank Blvd., and the last three of the 405 and 101 Frwy. interchange. As you can see, the city isn't built up yet and two connections of the latter interchange aren't completed. Once my RL-imposed break passes over, I'll show some images with more development and traffic. Hope y'all enjoy them. 101 Frwy. & Van Nuys Blvd. 405 Frwy. & Burbank Blvd. 405 Frwy. & 101. Frwy.
  3. North San Fernando

ZDog you are truly amazing! I live near the Newhall Pass...You definitely created an almost-accurate depiction. I've tried to recreate L.A. (More so the Valley) but I don't have the patience . I'm just holding out until RHW improves on diagonal functionality to complete the East and Northeast parts of the Valley. Anyways, I've been reading this city journal since it started...Keep on going my friend!

@asteconn. Thanks! I used the following mods: Jeronij's Modern Cement Walls by Jeronij, LRM Plopable Streetlights 01by MRTNRLN, CPT Italia Tree Mod by Cycledogg, fonzyfb73's Sign Packs, and RHW Lights and Barriers by Xyloxadoria.

    - Nice interchange nathanmayor! - Here's another interchange from my region based off of Greater Los Angeles. For those familiar with the area, it's Devonshire St. and the 405 Frwy. in Mission Hills. Just to note: the first and third images were taken facing north. The others south. Hope you all like it!
  6. Show us Your Interchanges!

Thanks! To be honest, I've never paid attention to which mods I use. But, I believe it might be because of the Slope Mod by Bones: http://www.simtropol...rail-slope-mod/ and these Tunnel Mods by KT3: http://www.simtropol...e-mod-highways/ & http://www.simtropol...nnel-slope-mod/ . One thing I've noticed is that with some of the road networks (one-ways, avenues, etc.) you can only drag them in one direction to form a tunnel of the length you want. Find the direction in which the network forms a tunnel. For one-ways, you can go back and change the direction by dragging it in the opposite direction. Hope that helps.

    Thanks everyone! @GMT Yes it's the 118 and 405.
  8. Show us Your Interchanges!

A large interchange from my recreation of the Los Angeles area. It took a couple of days to complete. I'm quite satisfied with it. Hope you all like it as well ;D
  9. Recreation: San Diego County

I'm also working on a recreation of my hometown (Los Angeles) but have always wanted to to do San Diego. Best of luck! I can't wait to see it.

  11. NAM: Requests

I have a couple requests. I'm not sure if they've been adressed but I'll say them anyway... 1. I think it would be a good addition to the game if elevated roads, avenues, and one ways had their own curves connecting straight and diagonal elevated networks. Ground one way roads also need curves as well, probably similar to the RHW. Also, Elevated road networks should have some sort of cosmetic work done to make them seem more realistic especially the supports and sidewalks, if it is feasible. 2. If it is possible, bridges could be drawn side by side vs. being one or more tiles apart.
