Though, the posts will come, last time i updated my CJ(wensday i belive) it took over 30 hours for someone to reply, and it was back on page 3 when it got replyed to, the cj itslef is fairly new, and the updates are huge and spaced out. When i enter a CJ, i will eather do this because i havnt seen it before, or Because the Title sounds good, or ofcource, if ive been there before and liked it ^^ As for posting, well, i seldom post in CJ's, though when i do post i make it worthwhile for the Author. I should be better at this, just leving a small post to people whos CJ's i like. Since a lot of those people dont even know i follow their CJ's every step. As for a CJ falling back to page 2 or 3, it dosnt matter, i for one check page 2 & 3 for updates of my +Fav Journals, and quite often click in on others that fall into the categories for checking them out described earlier. And it seems im not the only one to do this, since my first comments usualy come when the Cj has hit page 2, or 3, well, sometimes someone has posted before ive even goten to view the finished post myself, and thats prettey spectacular since its usualy about 1-2 pages of pure text to read through, and i check my cj as soon as ive updated(so that it looks and feels to my standard and so that ive not forgotten to style the different parts my way. The Idea of a nuclear war, well even though i dont belive it would happen as the world sits today(although im afraid of those mini-nukes the usa wants to develop), But theoreticly it could happen, it probably wouldnt be in WW3, but it could. The story seems cool, and its a good explanation(well with the radiation exepted) to why there is nothing left in the region... Im Looking forward to your CJ, and i hope you do continue the project, even though many members seem to have labled you as an terrorist. /OT, Why should one always try to bring in unrelative stuff everywhere, sad really, that some people cant read and follow one persons story, the way he meant to. The World is built upon history, and our history shall forever be a great source of insperation. As many members on this site, im from Europe, an continent that has seen wars raging here and there for over 1500 years, if id make an cj based around the Baltic and say sweden never gave back the terriories we conquerd when we were a superpower, how many would flame me? I think Americans take way to hard on anything that (even though only fictional) has made damage in the US, in europe we use this as History, like it is. How many times has not the great wars been used? Just because America really only has 2 major international incidents damaging american Soil(Pearl Harbour & 9/11). Grow up, its history, to not forget is to pay 100% Respect, even if you make up a senario that somehow in some wild and crazy way managed to get connected to a Tragic event, its still remembering, since it tunes peoples memories in. Chapter 6, Districts? As i was about to embark on the dreamtrain, Sofia came through the doorway, and without saying anything she set the alarmclock, i watched her do it, but lars had begged me to not make her aware of the situation yet. he was going to tell her he kept on saying. Sofia set the alarm to 0800, i new that ment that Lars wanted me to come with him the next morning, it had hapned a few times the last 2 months. and every night before, Sofia had come in at exactley 2300 and set the alarm. That meant i was to get some real news about the happening again tomorrow. I fell asleep as soon as Sofia had left my room. Waking up in a clod sweat 5 hours later, after having yet another nightmare of my first day at school, wich was creeping up way to fast, tomorrow was sunday, and on monday hell would start over all again... Unknown to me, Lars made Sofia sign some papres of confidentciallity, shortly after wich she got briefed on my situation, They sat up until 0230 discussing the matter. what they decided upon no one know's, exept the 2 of them. As i woke the next day to the very disturbing sound of my alarm clock, and opned my eyes just to se Sofia come running through the door. Hurring me up, and pusing me into the shower. something was different, i could feel it, i sensed that she was treating me differently, could Lars finaly have told her i thought to myself quietly. As she rubbed in shampoo in my hair, followed my balsam. Lifting me out of the shower and drying me off, as she had done all the previous mornings. Though she was shaking quite a lot this time. As the last 2 months she wasnt gonna let me chose my own clothes, silently i thought, she's probably thrown away all of my clothes by now. Once again i was dressed up in another fancy looking girls dress. hurried downstairs, i got an apple to eat on the way, as she packed my into the passenger seat of Lars car, he was already sitting there. Almost imediatley the car started, and Lars sped of the property, he was driving himself for once, he usualy had himself choffured around by some fat bloke in a funny hat. The road we travled was the same as so many early mornings before. The Town was still run from Haven, he parked the car outside and we walked indoors, to the same conference room as so many times before. I couldnt help to notice that Lars had spent more time than usual dressing and getting himself ready. As i sat down on the soft chair i usually sat on in the corner, i saw why he was more dressed up than usual. There were quite a few people that i didnt recognice from before, and Lars didnt sit down, he went straigt up to the Podium at the far end of the locale. The now empty land above Bills Field has been proposed as sevral things, some that are a bit more futureistic than others, but might very well become reality within the year, others probably wint be a reality within the coming 25 years. Somewhere in all this i had fallen asleep, and Lars woke me up on his way out. He said he had urgent matters to talk to me about, and he showed me the way to a small boat, he whent right out to the reefs outside on the far side of the Shion Cove. The trip didnt take long, some 20 minutes or so. Well there he said, Ive got 2 things to talk to you about, the first, i interupted him and said, you told Sofia right? he slowley said yes in a questioing voice, and then asked how i knew. i just said i felt it this morning, there was something different about Sofia. Then he told me that id have to live with Sofia in the seaside villa, just because it would arouse to much attension if i lived allone. Then there was some talk about school, and how i should act. Just because i had the chance now, and Lars had never quite wanted to tell be before, but had promised to someday, i asked if he'd care to tell me his history. And a history of sadness and depression it was, i burst out in tears several times. His Parents and Grandparents had all died in the Great Impact, being rased in foster homes. He usualy was a leader somehow, and was very liked by people, but he had a hard time letting anyone close to him. and had allways had. He had studied for 4 years at Chintose University, i knew that was the most prestigeous University on this planet, and asked how on earth an orphan could get in there, he said that he was very lucky, and that he had done several illegal things to get in there. Though well in he was a star student and majored in 3 subjects, University Level, Civic Engineering, Civic Planing, Social Studies. Worked at some big time corp called Fwandrei Civic Planning Office, before he went out exploring. He had once had a wife, they had never been able to get a child, and she died in a plane crash 5 years prior to his first expedition soulth. he told me that she was the only person he had ever let close to him, and that he loved her dearly, even still. and he actually cried, and didnt want to tell me more, we both dryed up our tears, this was the first time i could remember crying infront of someone. We shortly left for Shion again, and i had a lot of packing to do. OoC: Okay, im sorry for the huge wait for this update, i tryed to spice it up a bit more to compensate, but i had a fling of RLS... im gonna try to get another update in before the weekend, because il be very busy during the weekend, having parties for my 18th birthday on monday(the 9th), wich most likley will make me end up drunk... as so often ^^ Cheers /Sim

Shintose: Rural, story evo CJ Fwandrei: Smalltown, development cj(disscontinued because of hddcrash, but the cj is still there) Stondon: Prettey old(1yr) but quite a few skyscrapers and heavy development. Chapter 5, The Pace Quickens! I Woke up on the grass of Lars Mansion, as i had the last 13 days in the afternoon, since that first day i fell asleep on the lawn. Thinking about my future, the towns future, and allways rambeling through what was going on where, and trying to remember what each of the pictures reprecented, every now and than Lars and the other ministers showed me some pictures, though the only one who knew i could have a oppinion on what was going on was Lars. Everyone else in this paradise of ours thought of me as just another kid that might run out into the street at any time. I was'nt allowed to drive for Lars, even if i could... if my legs would reach the cluch. However i was allowed to ride a bicicle, yay... So i just spent most of my days in the sun, thinking, dreaming and having visions for the future of Shion. I had to please my creativity somehow, and right now the only way was to dream. I had in secret helped Lars with the estetics of several locations around town. My house seemed to take forever to build, id been wating for it for months it felt like, though really it had only been 13 days since that day i got to know that i was getting my own beachfront house. Lars is quite the religious man, and has seen it to that a House of Worship and a graveyard has been erected, even if it will most likley be sevral years before anyone is knocked out by natural reasons, though sevral wealthy people have already erected toombs and catacombs in the cementary, for the day when they leave the mortal world, and me. There is no specific faith here, some people belive in that, others in this, and some just go there and belive in Life, or to explain their faith for others. In Shion sevral offices have sprung, some govermental, and some just because Shion needs more offices. The Mines and a Large deepocian harbour is beeing built to mine and melt and produce with the Iron and copper, coal and whatever else those old geologists found. they needed power over there and a temporary underwater cable was drawn. The first true spring sign came to mee to, last week i was able to stand out in a mild swedish spring night, with an umbrella in one hand and a bottle of wiskey in the other, with the spring rain splashing of the umbrella, and no snow in sight. Feedback sloppet: Wow You sure are a fast reader, if im correct it took you 1 minute 24 seconds, from the second i posted the update, till you had read it all and managed to post a comment, prettey impressive i must say ^^ SC4 meister: Well Thanx for the comment, and just as Shadow_Assassin mentined above, it is just the ordinary school provided before Rush Hour, surrounded with Jeroni Trail Park - Tarmac version . And some other ingame lots(like the Football field, wich adds a lot of realism, since most schools, around where i live anyway, are close to a pitch). I-will-crush-u: Yeah, Storries should be interesting, thats kinda why you read them ^^ and there fun top write too, especially since i dont have the time to let my creative side run out as pictures on papper anymore, well sometimes, but far from enough... 9.9, thats very much, especially for a newly started journal, i feel honoured ^^ ALL: ok, as for when the next chapter comes, we have to wait and see, im hoping for tomorrow, but i have to see how tired i am then, as i belive i told ye all, i work in the mornings before school, and then i go to school(usually anyways), then home again, and ive got a very long commute(lets just say most sims would have moved out even with perfect pathfinding and 10x commute speeds, 120-130km, of commuting, daily i do(there and back), and its still a month till im allowed to take my licence, so im commuting puplicly) Now for the uppdate. Chapter 4, A Dress? As i sat on a chair by the brekfast table, drinking some nearly hot chocolate and slowly eating a burned peice of bread with nothing on. Lars came through the open door hole, he kinda jumped a bit, and chocked he looked at me and asked me what i was dooing. I managed to mumble, Im eating breakfast, before nearly falling asleep again. Lars told me he was here to invite me to the Friday Morning Meeting, one wich allways contained what buildings and projects were starting next week, and what projects that had been completed this week. I had nopt cared to come on one for 3 weeks now. He told me that the Cheif Constructioneer would be there, and that all Advisors and Ministers were to be there. Quite a hefty sum of people. I waited awile before actualy responing, Ok... Should i come with you now? Again he looked chocked at me, and told me that i first had to find some clean clothes and take a shower. You have to look respectable, he told me, which i obviosly didnt right now, as i walked past a mirror in the hall, i saw it formyself, i had chocolate all over my t-shirt, and my hair looked like i just gotten out of a bed filled with those funkey looking electric balls that make your hair stand up. I walked up the stairs and gatherd a bunch of clothes, as i entred the bathroom before i managed to close the door, Lars came and gave me a bag with clothes in, Where this, he said. He left the room and i closed the door, as i oppned the bag, i kinda didnt really want to put it on, a dress? i thought, not bad enough actually having become a girl, now i have to dress like one too, id never had a dress on me before... I showerd and got myself clean, hesitantley figured out how to put the dress on, and dressed up in it, It was a simple red one, tailored to fit me, This has got to have taken quite some effort from Lars side to find out, i thought. As i came out of the bathroom I saw Lars walking up and down the corridor, he had probably been dooin that the halfhour id been in the bathroom. he never could do somthing when he was waiting. When i saw me, his face lit up with a smile and he stated, I never thought you actually put it on! I replyed, Im just saving us some time, i knew you wouldnt have let me leave the house without it on. We rushed out to the wating car, the meeting was to be held in a locale in Haven, the docks. The car speed of, and we somehow got into a trafficjam, a car had hit some local animal, and cars coulnd pass by, Shions first traffic accsident and traffic jam was a fact. though the road to Haven was beeing upgraded. 15 minutes later we arrived in Haven, quite late considering it not to be even a kilometers drive. everyone was there and assembled. The Spokesman started, You are 35 Minutes late! but nevermind, were not in a rush, lets get started. As the dayorder of the meeting was read up, everyone sat quiet, most with straight backs looking really wealthy, they most likley had been back in Fwandrei too, but here everyone was more or less just as poor, the people that were rich before had gotten quite a lot for just that, including nice large houses for their familes and so on. The first thing to be taken up was about Power, the utility advisor said that the current wind generator could only stand for so long, and it was ennoying local residents and workers. If windpower was to be the main source of power the first few years as planned, a new site would have to be built, away from current real estate. He also said that geologists had found large quanteties of coal in the same moutains while mapping the Iron and Copper deposits. This is good because if we want to build coal power in the future, we can run it on pure coal, He also reported that the geologists thought there to be enourmous quanteties of Oil in the seas around the isle. The Meeting continued in this manner until the Chief Constructioneer got to say his, at the same time as showing slideshow pics of the completed and current projects. The Chief was about to sit down when he rememberd, oh yeah, and about the mines, we need to decide upon how to excavate the ores, and where to melt them, also we need to decide upon how we are going to transport the materials from the smelters and forges to their final destination. I Have a plan, which should be the most suitable one. There is a piece of cost that sits very low, im thinking if we build a port there, it serves as a great place to get materials out, and workers in, the finished materials could be shipped via the rivever Sim to wherever they are needed. or into Haven and distributed by truck. Since briginf the 2 rivers would prove more costley. The mines should be located on the veins up in the mountains, and will be shaft mines, to preserve the nature. All the relevant industry would be built up around this location. preferably we would like to have railroads to get the ores down to the port, but i think the slops would defeat us on that aspect. What do you think. After a small debate it was decided that a small dock should be built, so as the mines could get running faster, the industry and mines would be constructed up in the mountains. The How to get the workers there was still a question, some wanted the more costley but higher capasity Bridges, some wanted Railroad connetion for commuters, some wanted an heavy ferry commute to be running. though by the end of the day, it was most likley that you would be able to get there by rail, road or sea. rail was decided to be the last mode installed, with roads second last. Jeronij, First of, great updates the last few of them, i thought it was time for me to make another comment, since its been awhile since i last did. Also, i just noticed the size of your pics, very irregular i think, 773px * 575px, any partucular reason? The pictures i liked the most, in the most recent update is, 57.6: The Angle and everything just fits so nicley together, and w2w is never wrong... well maby in extreemly hillay areas ^^ 57.9: Closeups are allways a favorite, A very nice BAT surounded realisticly and it all looks very nice. Though it would have been nice with some traffic in the streets, just for those small details. -More than this to read? -yes... Also id just like to note i borrowd the idea you have for naming pics, giving them numbers, i think its really smart, so much easier to comment, and people dont really need to repost a pic in the journal, just point to the pic. Thax you all for them, hope i got all questions answerd above, but now for todays Main event! Chapter 2, The Township of Shion! The first month had passed suprisingly quick, and inland loads of work had been completed, A brand new peir and a wharehouse had been built, fish was arriving daily there. The further extension of the dock is still being wored on. Farm's have poped up all around the isle, most of the space on the isle is now beeing grown on. It was a sunny day, and i was going to go inland to watch Lars cut the ribbon to the new town. The town Lars had decided would rule his nation, even if right now it only was a few houses and some stores. As i boared the Hovercraft, i got a message from the captain saying that Lars was awating my arrival at his mansion at 1500 hours. it wasnt a too long walk from Haven, only about a km, and it was sunny so i didnt mind. I walked im my pace, wich always had been slow, but ever since that day my life changed, it was even slower. it took me a good 40 minutes to walk the km. Even though most of the route is uphill, anyone who wanted would have done it in under 10 minutes. I cheerd some farmers as i walked by, they seemed to be settled right in, like if they had lived here all their lives. Few cars passed by on the small street leading up from Haven, but i id see a couple, probably just some shopkeeper going down to haven to collect some fish. I arrived at Lars mantion quite a bit to early, even though my slow walking pace, but i was let in none the less. I just had to sit through a meeting where Lars and his top advisors were making decisions about the near future, and some for the far future. We cant have all those people living out on the ships forever, we need to build some large Appartment Buildings one said, Lars said quite frankley that he didnt want any large buildings wasting valuable reacources. Another wanted to move the farms to the soulth across the river. so that the isle was more free for buildings, one sugested building housing on the soulth side of the river. Haven all people in the room had agreed on needed another extension, one maby 2 more peeirs, some wharehouses and some parking lots. One dude stressed the importance of upgrading the street for higher capacities, this was put on hold, since the need for it wasnet to great yet. The meeting proceded in the same manner until 1525, when they called it a day. well they did need to get ready for the ribbon cutting cerony after all, wich was to be held at 1600 at one of the intersections in the town. Lars held his speach and ended it with some grand visionary words, but as the applause died out and i was expecting him to cut the ribbon, he called me upfront to the microphone. I blushed, as i usually did, as i came forth, he handed me the siccors, then poked me and wisperd that i should be the one that cut the ribbon. he introduced me to the crowd, and pushed me in the way of the ribbon. My face by this time must be all red i though to myself, probably just making me blush even more. I opend the siccors, and the crowd started cheering SIM, SIM, SIM, that kinda freeked me out, but i did what i could to gather myself and cut the riboon just as Lars said the words: I Declare this ilse to be home to the Town of Shion! Drowned in Cheers and happy emotions the crowd slowley moved off. Lars taking me with him down to the Limo, he said a could sleep in his guest room tonight, and we could talk some over a bottle of wiskey. well, an offer i could'nt turn down, i love wiskey. he already knew the aswer and said, we need to decide some things about your Mansion, ive got loads of locations and designs. and ive got quite a few new pictures of the ilse, you know, its changed a lot since you last saw those pictures, already we have 10% of the population living intown. and more mooving out everyday. Hope to see you both back again, and all of you lurkers too! Chapter 1, The Nation of Shintose. Men and Machinery worked for days to get the docks deep enough for the ships to come. After 5 Days Lars asked me if i wanted to be one of the first to set foot on Shintose. My responce was waited and 20 minutes later we were speeding in on a hovercraft, a prettey small one, but it did the task very well. As I got to the shore and jumped onto land, and very stable land it was . It was the first time any of us had stood on ground for sevral months. The robots had built up the depos and housing for the first construction crews, that was due to arrive 15 minutes after we landed on the beachhead. They were with the aid of the Robots to build a peir and some docs. Lars told me that a group of Engeneers were assembling a small high altitude drone to take an overhead picture and some topographical data from about 2500m altitude. Lars also told me that he'd show the pictures to me. The drone was to take quite a few pictures of the camp, wich mostley consisded of some houses, A Wind generator, and a Water pump/tower combo. so that the workers could live and work at the same place. First thing to get built were some roads and farms, the road slowly crept up into the unknown, but following the not far from the coast. it had been decided that that was the best route to get untop of the huge cliffs hanging over the beach. People were given housing as it became avalible, the rest continued to live in the luxury of the ships, just commuting into the town to help out everyday. Since it was everyones task to help. Farms were constructed. The main centre of the village was to be located on a small ilse in the river delta of the river Sim, the one named after me. And was quite a bit above the sealevel. though the docks constructed on the seaside were built on a lower level. the isle was supprisingly flat, not many bumps at all. though the landscape was divided by numerous cliffs, Some bigger than the others. The first food that arrived that was produced on the isle was fish, cought in the bay. I like to fish, but i really dont like to eat them, though i didnt have to much choise, but i got used to it, though only ever Barbiequed Fish... As I lay on my bed in my cabin abord one of the passenger ships, someone knocked on the door, i opend and was not really supprised to see that it was Lars standing on the other side when the door flung up. He told me that the drone had just landed and the pictures were beeing downloaded from the drones memory. I tagged allong to the warroom, dont know why Lars called it so, but he did. and the pictures came up on a slide show. They were beautiful. A Location for a towncentre was chosen and plans were drafted out. Hello, i dont have much time now... Just thought id say that i think this looks very nice. all of it. il be back in 60-90min and update my post with a bit more... Those Roads that wind are really good and a really nice way to brake up any grid feel. Those Forests are spectacular, well, they usually are, but youve blended town with forest in a very nice way. Long time no see, again, my fault as usual :/ ive missed quite a bit, though the Proposal i would have gone for (#3) was chosen anyway. though if it was me building it would probably have ended up beeing the megalomaniac #4... Looks really nice, and i can imagine the Fast Food chains are dooing really well, with both shopping and an arena to feed ^^ As for the newest poll of development, id sugest you build the U4 up to Greenwich Station, i eyeballed the distance to the stadium from the Station, and guessed at 400-500m, maby less. any way, thats well within walking distance, so the second part of my sugestion, as the U4 would go to the station, you would want a walkway, pedestrian street connecting it to the new Arena area. as for your updates contaning to much text. never, its allways fun to read, and i doubt it can be to much ^^ Cheers

Well Sac/Agra hasnt been around for ages, last post was 6th of November 04. and was quite a time since he was here last before that, also Gothia seems to be coing up slowley. I think the PEG intermixon lots were part or an addon to the Peg Pond or Stream pack v 105(the oldies that were removed) though someone is bound to have them around somewhere. Cheers
