This pack adds 20 late-model VW transporters to your city traffic ('68 to '79). Like the previous pack, all the vehicles use Rivit's VW kombi model as a base, with modifications made by me. Contents: There are 7 standard microbusses in blue, green, red, yellow, orange, white and tan; 5 with a white top and sliding steel sunroof in orange, red, yellow, blue and green; 5 Westfalia edition campers in red, blue, orange, green and tan; and 3 dual-cab pickups in blue, white and tan. There are some color variations between models for variety. Installation: Just unzip the contents of the zipfile into your plugins folder, following the folder structure within. If you have already installed my first VW transporter pack you do not need to installl the file 'VW_Type_2_Shared.dat' (it's the same file) otherwise you need it for the vehicles to show up properly. All the vehicles files are named by color, with the addition of 'camper' for the campers, 'sunroof' for the two-tones (w/sunroof), the pickups have 'DCpickup' in the name. Thanks to Rivit for letting me use his kombi model! Enjoy!
  4. Classic VW Transporter Pack 1

ohh. I have thought about modding the H2 that mikeseith did to include some of the older models, so maybe at some point I will do some military humvees...no promises yet though
  5. Classic VW Transporter Pack 1

@gottago: I actually already updated the original pack a few days ago, they are now all in seperate files. @3dpuzzle..mikeseith already made some H2 hummers, they're here on the stex

drop me a PM and let me know what you have, I may want to do some for you, I'm gonna help Glenni do some of his busses he has, when I get done with a couple things. I might want to do some of yours. I also will be doing a tutorial soon...

..also the term 'Kombi" was actually a specific type of bus with an unfinished interior in the rear, and removable seats allowing it's use as both cargo, and passenger transporter..hence kombi (combo). On the outside they were identical to the standard microbus.

Thanks! the so-called 23 window busses were the original deluxe models, they're pretty rare nowadays, they were only in production through the 1963 production year, when the wraparound windows in the rear went away, and a wider rear window and hatch became the norm (second gen.) in 1964

This pack adds 43 classic VW type 2 transporters to your city traffic. The models used for these all use Rivit's VW Kombi as a base, modifications were made by me for the campers, and the pickups. Contents: There are 6 colors of each of the first and second generation microbus, these are all two-tone (with the cream white top), and come in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and black. The first generation busses come in two types, standard (with 15 windows), and deluxe versions (23 windows with a ragtop). The second generation busses come in two types, standard (13 windows) and deluxe (21 windows with a ragtop). There are also 5 first generation delivery vans (doors on both sides of the van) in red, blue, orange, grey and white. 7 second generation campers with pop-tops and roofracks, in blue, green, yellow, orange, red, white and tan. 5 first generation, single-cab pickup trucks in white, grey, red, orange and blue, there are also two pickups with a canvas bed canopy, one white and one blue. Some of the colors are a bit different between models, for variety. Installation: Just unzip the contents of the zip file into your plugins folder, following the folder structure in the zip file. You must install the file VW_Type_2_Shared.dat, the individual vehicle files are all optional. Refer to the enclosed jpeg for examples of the window styles. All the microbusses are named according to their window configurations: '23win', '21win', '15win', or '13win' are used along with their color in the file name. Likewise the campers, delivery vans and pickups are named accordingly, the two with canopies have 'canopy' in their name. Thanks to Rivit for letting me use his kombi model! Pack two is in the works, and will include the late model busses, campers and double-cab pickups. I have a lot of automata installed besides my creations, and installing all of these has not swamped my traffic with them, I recommend you install them all, then see how it looks before you thin a few out of your plugins. For me they show up just a bit less than my Beetles. Enjoy!
  10. Bugatti Veyron

Great looking car! I'll second the porsche, and the superbird request, and add a '63 shelby cobra, and GT40! Keep up the great lookin work.
  11. Lamborghini Reventon

    very nice!
  12. Hoopdees with Neon Ground Effects

@RedImperator, not often..that's part of the reason I only did three of them, although I have a lot of automata installed, which also makes a difference
  13. Hoopdees with Neon Ground Effects

As for doing any more of these, I'm only using models made by others, so the impreza is do-able (I think Mikeseith did some), I don't even know what the other car is. It won't be soon though..got a big set in the works
  14. Hoopdees with Neon Ground Effects

That's just one slang term for cars like this (it's what we called them where I grew up)..
  15. Hoopdees with Neon Ground Effects

At some point I will probly make more too, also some tuned acuras and stuff like that with neon.
