Well I figured it out. I installed a no-cd patch that caused it to lock up. Fresh install and it works.

Thanks for the quick reply. The game runs fine without NAM. I do have the patch installed (SC4Mac_V11RevA, unless there's a newer one). I'm not certain it's a right-handed version, but I did try deleting the right_hand_version.dat file while leaving the Left_Hand folder. There's a "Plugins" folder within NAM, and "Locale Files" as well.

Hey all, I've just reinstalled Sim City 4 Rush Hour after a long hiatus and am excited to install the new NAM for Mac. I've read and reread the installation instructions, so I'm hoping I'm just missing something subtle. Everytime I open the game (fresh install), as soon as I name and start a new city, the game just stalls, and if I didn't force quit, I imagine would be stalled forever. Here's how I've tried to install NAM (I've removed everything else from the plugins folder as well, and other plugins are fine, but NAM always stalls): Documents\SimCity4\Plugins From Automata Controller I've kept only the standard plugin. From Data Views, I've kept data_view_transit_stations.dat, data_view_Z_classic.dat, and zone_data_view.dat From traffic controller I've kept plugin_z_classic.dat I've tried different combinations of the classic or radical plugins as well (with only one in each folder), but it always stalls. I've also deleted the left_hand version plugin folder Have I missed something? Thanks.
