Wow! I'm glad I checked my favorites again
  2. XBOX 360, PS3 or Wii?

wow GMT. i actaully feel the opposite about the controllers. i like the re-designed 360 controllers. the old xbox controllers were terrible though. i don't like the ps3 controller as much for some reason. i suck at wii so its at the bottom haha for me the 360 was more affordable. some games are HD and the graphics are a ton better than for my gamecube and n64. the ring of death was something i thought about but so far i have avioded it (knock on wood) i have a "watercooler" attachment which increases the effectiveness of the cooling system. and i have had no thinkable microsoft problems
  3. Halifax,Iowa-A Metropolis in the Making!

Decided to swing by again. ANd I'm glad I did! Good work.
  4. Guess that City - American Version

Your file name says West Palm Beach but it didn't look like it. And sorry for holding up the game. Edit: Wait, I guess that means it's within 1000 miles of Fenway
  5. Guess that City - American Version

    Plant City, FL
  6. Guess that City - American Version

    Brownsville Tx For jumpthefence's post
  7. Highways? Yes! I love your highways. I can't wait for this. (Almost as much as I can't wait for a fence.)
  8. Yes I did have a nice last day but unfortunately we now have a dog to take care of. The main problem is that we don't have a fence. This is a very active dog. I'm going with D here. It's right there on the water but also farther from the main sea for protection purposes.
  9. Yea, this new CJ section and Old CJ section thing is just too confusing. Well for me at least. My real life always gets busier in May. It usually is for a lot of students. Projects are due, AP exams were the last two weeks and now I have finals. Fortunately, Wednesday is my last day so I should be around more often.

It is a fine place for a starting point but for many student s doing projects, they don't care if the info is correct or not, they just want to finish the project and pass, even if that means using incorrect information. No, not all information is incorrect but why take a chance when you have hundreds of reputable online sources that are fully legitimate that only certain people can edit. Supposedly, the purpose was to just steer students away from Wikipedia since obviously there's nothing blocking them for getting on there at home.

That's why Gwinnett County public schools blocked wikipedia on all computers. And Kudos to Shane. I don't think he'll have to work to hard to find a job when he puts that accomplishment on his resume.
  12. Holy cow I've missed a lot! The war storyline is nice and all but will Franklin County get any new growth or cities?

Uhhh, that's bad news for Lavonia. And has no one mentioned Atlanta yet? It seems like every other road has Peachtree in it. I mean, c'mon, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard? Talk about complete opposites. Peachtrees don't even grow here in the piedmont

Had she answered the other way then the people booing may cheer and the people cheering may boo. I do think she answered it as politely as possible. (I heard it on the radio) She didn't call them any slurs or anything like that. As far as freedom of speech, she was allowed to say it uncensored so I guess that doesn't exactly infringe on anything. Really though, what's next? Asking what political party they support? Pro life or pro choice? Boxers or briefs? (Just kidding on that one) But seriously though, let's avoid the politics in pageants
  15. Gay elephant in a polish zoo

Good grief. It hasn't even reached sexual maturity yet. I think a 10 year old boy would also spend more time with males rather than females.
  16. Revelstoke

Haha Apology accepted! So glad to have you back. I was very close to deleting it off my faves on IE. I guess that rough winter took its toll on you.

  20. Legalization of cannabis

Oh boy where do I start. Well, I don't think there is any doubt that medical use should be allowed. The question is on recreational use. I really am torn. It makes sense why it is banned. It is bad for your health. Just like alcohol and tobacco. Which is why I will never use them and never will recommend anyone to use them. I can definitely see the benefits of legalization. Obviously it would make it safer and easier to receive from a store instead of in the black market (on the downside, this would also make it easier to abuse.) Tax revenue is another obvious pro. Make them at least contribute financially to the state and country. It is rather low on the danger list so legalization would allow the DEA to focus on more serious drugs such as cocaine, heroin, meth, etc. It would also allow the police to focus more on crimes that are more damaging to society. However, it's still a drug. It's still bad. The only real reason as to why alcohol and tobacco aren't also banned is because of the previous widespread use. Alcochol due to its ability to be free of sickening parasites in an era when there was no such thing as water treatment plants or running water. Tobacco has been a staple in many areas, particularly the southern United States where tobacco was a cash crop for Chesapeake Colonies. This of course led to widespread use. It's important to note that these drugs became widespread in a time when neuroscience was very basic and drug's effects on the body were not nearly as well known as today. This is one of the problems I have with the Prohibition Argument. During the Prohibition. Anti-smoking movements were just beginning to start up during this time. Previously, smoking had been thought of as a good habit to have. It wasn't till 1964 that the Surgeon general of the US actually recommended that smokers stop smoking. In short, we know a lot more about drugs effects on the body than we did in the 20's so the leverage of the Prohibiton argument is somewhat diminished. As for the "potheads we've known", it's a lot easier to list sucessful people that used marijuana than to list all of the people who used marijuana and ended up in a situation a lot worse. There's too many of them. In a way, it comes down to the individual. Some people can handle it. Just like some people can handle their drinking. I doubt that smoking marijuana actually helped those people make it to where they are today. I don't think that drug cartels will end completely. After all there are a lot more drugs out there, like cocaine, that is a source of income for many. Drug dealing on the street corners won't end either. They may diminish but dangerous drugs will continue to be smuggled and sold. If you tell a child not to do something, most likely it's because it is bad for them. That's the entire idea of making drugs illegal. It's for their protection. With that said, marijuana is lower risk, although not free of risk. So legalization is more probable. I still can't decide though. I may just have to go "majority rule" on this one. After all, it's not exactly a "right" to be able to smoke marijuana. If it is legalized, hopefully the revenue on taxes will be used for education on how drugs are bad.

  23. Earliest SimCity Series Memory...

Back in Middle school (Thanks Crews!) in 6th grade we would play Sim City 3000 in Computer Science. It was so much fun and looking back at it, I can't beleive we survived by just making roads and awful zoning decisions. A few moths late, I got Sim City 4 and never looked back
