Real life. We've all been slammed with RL at the same time - hopefully I'll be able to get back to stuff after this week. I'm taking a Library Assistant / Technician certificate course at the local (40 minutes away!) community college. That, plus work, plus football = no time for SC4. Worry not, friends - we'll hopefully be back in the saddle again very soon!

Good news, folks - looks like we'll be able to put together a pack for release tonight or tomorrow! Skinnybones, your signs are in here for sure. As far as making your own signs, please start your own thread. This thread isn't a catch-all for people making their own signs.

That's entirely correct - we're using the HD plugin that SimFox developed. Wakita_OK_Boy & iowndiscti - your signs fall outside of the purview of SC4DOT. Your signs are those that municipalities may put up on their own to signify the charms & importance of those communities, but they're not true highway signs. Sorry to say we can't take these 2 requests.

Detrav, your sign is pretty far down on the list right now. We're doing signs in the order requested. As it has been asked several times, I would like to reiterate: We're like the NAM Team in a sense - stuff gets done when it gets done. We all have real lives, too - and real life takes priority over whatever goes on in here. No one's request has been skipped - we're doing signs in the order they were requested. If your request hasn't been done yet, please show a little patience - we'll get to it as soon as we can.

Please be patient. Also, here's a general reminder for everyone: SC4DOT considers their GMAX models to be solely the property of the group, and will not be releasing them to anyone.

Originally posted by: nathanthemayor Any other ways I could improve the textures?quote> I would use a white background with special messages on yellow panels (ex: "25 MPH"). I also don't know which font you're using, but I would use one of the Roadgeek fonts (Series E or EM, I think). One more edit (lol) . . . regarding the model: I'd move the signs up a little bit - right now, it looks like a truck / trailer could hit the bottom of the signs and take out at least the bottom fourth. EDIT 4 (yup, 4) - @ Maarten: So it is.

Originally posted by: nathanthemayor Thanks for filling my request, but I think you forgot to put a couple of files in the zip. You better check, because I requested 3 signs, and I found two in the file.quote> We'll remedy that once Vince gets back from vacation - thanks for pointing that out!

Quizler's sign was pretty easy. It may look a bit oversized, but that's because everything's bigger in Texas. Higgins, you're up next. EDIT: Higgins, here's your sign. I did the best I could - the way it was in your SignMaker picture would have never fit on a RHW-8. We might try to sneak them out with citiesxlfan42's requests soon.

Originally posted by: bhiggins Wow, pretty nice signs you all are making so far on here, not trying to make your day worse by requesting a sign but this is one i would like to have in my cities to have them unique in my upcoming City Journal . (Modified for 4 - Lane RHW)quote> Originally posted by: quizlers1 Hello ya'll. My cities are based in Texas and I hope you don't mind if I ask if the following sign be made available. http://eye-ride.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/09/Texas%20Sign.JPG (for some reasone the picture doesn't want to show) As you can see, there is a sign below the main one that says "Proud home of President..." Please remove that, and in its place, please put "A good place to hang your hat" Thank you so much and thanks for all the wonderful works you've done! quote> These two requests are next on my list, to be released as one pack.

Thanks for that info! I never knew that . . . . . it's always looked like "Bernandino" to me. I'll get that corrected shortly. And if you ever need anything for Nyhaven, you let us know, y'hear?

Red, that's some pretty nice work for someone who's just getting to know the BAT! I do have some suggestions: 1) If you haven't already, get that HD plugin. It'll work wonders. 2) For your bus / subway stops - they look a little "rugged" / "Eastern bloc" (Sorry if that term offends anyone - I'm having trouble finding words to describe my meaning). Maybe experiment with some well-known mass transit organization's colors. 3) For your overhead signs - move them up a bit in height. Right now, it looks like a truck could hit the bottom and tear the whole assembly down. Good luck to you in the future!
