SimCity (2013) Videos, Streams, 'Let's Plays', Etc.
OffTopic replied to Haljackey's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Here's a link to Quill18's playthrough of the beta, he's my go-to youtuber for all sorts of strategy games. It's really gotten me pumped for the release. All credit to him of course. I just thought it'd be great to share his quirky sense of humour with other SC fans.- 14 Replies

Which release are you more excited for?
OffTopic replied to Indiana Joe's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Personally I'd have to say SC13. I know many people are grumbling about it, but let's face it-SC4 is a 10 year old game. Change is inevitable, and from a lot of the pre-release gameplay footage I've seen the game seems to look very fun, and I can't wait to get my hands on it this Tuesday. That being said, the NAM update should provide an excellent addition to the Sim City we know and love. -
I most likely will. I'm a tad bummed that the mac release isn't launching simultaneously with the pc version, but the very fact that we're even getting an OS X version strikes me as a miracle. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the map sizes, but from what I've been seeing, the gameplay makes up for it. I watched Quill18's playthrough of the beta and it's gotten me really excited for the game. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

Victoria, BC (city) - 78,000 Victoria, BC (metro) - 330,000 British Columbia (province) - 4,500,000 Canada - 34,500,000 (as of 2011 estimate) Wouldn't want to live anywhere else, can't help but chuckle when I see people from the east complaining about weather

The Moose Factory - Virtual Bar and Grill - Version 3
OffTopic replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in General Off-Topic
Could I just get a bottle of Molson and a slice of Key Lime? It's been a long few months. -
Well, if this is Sci-Fi tv...as in the congregation of the genre...Doctor Who Christmas/New Years special, anyone? Been long anticipated, considering the last few specials haven't come up to quite the same standard, at least not what I'm used to. I'm especially enthused due to BBC America being prompt for once, they are apparently airing the special the day after the big day. Last year's Christmas special was thawing out around Easter.

Hello, TheTitanicExpert! I see you are new to simtropolis, and there are many things you can do to make your cities function and look better. First, you may want to look at the NAM (short for Network Addon Mod.) It greatly improves traffic times and pathfinding skills of sims, and it adds new options for rural highways and ground light rail. Second, you will want to check out the Simtropolis Exchange, where you can download new buildings to make your city look better. To Install these files, simply open the installer file or put the folder in your Plugins folder. Lastly, you will want to check out the Omnibus to learn how to use those spiffy new mods you downloaded. If you have any more questions, just post them here. Hope I helped! P.S. Click here to get to the NAM.

Well john, I think you should go for it, and whatever happens, I hope you'll pull through. Nerd_Guy: Congrats on first kiss my friend, that was a great time for me too. For everybody else, have a great day. -
Oh yes, I'll take an account. I make enough green to pay you up. A Pepsi today please. Sorry about your flu. Hope you get well soon.

Wow, looks very dense, but still looks good. Also, that is one long airport!

Tiny car eh? Looks like a piece of crap, with no power steering? Sheesh. I though every car since the 50's had power steering. And it's tiny! I would hate to drive that, let alone sit in the back seat.

Deciding. Hmm. And health Inspectors? Why would you be worried...

Do you mean other people's files? They should pop up immediately. Yours will pop up when you post it.

I have horrible photoshopping skills, but I still managed to edit this picture. -
Looking forward to some pics, and maybe a description.

If that happened these days people would think the Rapture was upon us... the Govenment would put up warning signs 'DON'T SKATE ON THE ICE OR YOU'LL DIE!!!' and we'd all progressively start living in caves, in fear that the next mile we drive could well be our last. Why the hell are we so paranoid about Climate Change? If it happens (wich it will) it will be progressive over a few hundred years. I remember last year it a freaking boiling in summer and, predicably, people blamed Climate change. This year, it was a little rainy in summer and abit colder in winter and again, people blamed Climate change. You can't win whatever the weather, people will always blame climate change... its got to the point now whenever people mention Climate Change or Global Warming, I just switch off because i'm not interested... who the hell cares if I want to fill the Kettle to 2 cups when I'm only having 1?! Its just stupid blatant nitpicking from a bunch of hypochondriac environmentalists quote> Amen brother.

Same here, lots of Personal fouls against New England. Go Jaguars! If we win against the Colts tommorrow, I don't want to go against the Patriots.
