A big 8 for The Big 8! (I'm sure you understand that, given the CKLW Project name... anyone who doesn't, look it up.) As has been mentioned several times before here, the white textures need a little work, but otherwise this thing is magnificent. I'm really diggin' your Detroit/Windsor buildings. Keep it up!

Official Mapping Community Requests
JoshTheRadioDude replied to RadioheadFan's topic in Mapping Community Room
I'm wondering if anyone would create regions of both Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in Florida. There's a Miami map in the STEX, but as best I can tell it doesn't include any city limits, it's just one huge city. As for Fort Lauderdale and Broward County, I haven't found anything in the STEX. If someone would like to create Miami-Dade County as one region complete with city limits and another region constituting Broward County with city limits, I would very much appreciate it. By the way, I realize the city limits in both counties are not at all square, and so rough approximation of city limits and sizes will have to do. I also realize that there are many unincorporated areas that have names but aren't officially cities, therefore have no real boundaries. Wikipedia has pretty much everything you need to make calls in both of those respects, though since I'm from the area myself, I'd be glad to give you all the help I can. Would anyone like to help me out? -

By strict definition of city limits, Atlanta isn't the largest city in the south, Houston is (Houston's population is estimated at 2,016,582 in 2005, Atlanta's is 470,688). However, discounting Texas, Atlanta is the second-largest metropolitan area in the south (Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach is the first).
