Did you restart your pc after replacing the files, but before you fired up the game? I find this simple task can cure a lot of woes, especially if moving/renaming/deleting a number of files in a 'session'. Also on widows systems, running the defrag after a large clean up can speed things up in game.

Great pictures all!
Hats off to Xannepan for the great mod and taking this game up another notch!
Hi John,
Feels good to pull up a chair... looks like you have been busy; there seems to be quite a bit stirring the site.
Quite some challenges presented themselves in my small part of Canada, glad to say I have good people in my life.
On that note, I would like to invite you and your patrons to raise a glass/cup/mug of a favorite beverage: To Friends.
I am so pleased! This is the fastest the site has ever loaded for me!
I finally have time to stop in and drop a note to say thanks; the menus and orders in this thread have helped inspire me on more than one occasion.. if only Rob knew who to thank for some of his best meals!
Time for bed snack, I'm thinking graham wafers with a smidge of butter and a dollop of strawberry jam, served along side a glass of milk. mmm good!
Sweet dreams..
I would so love to be able to play Quest again. It was the first pc game I ever played. If someone knows how I can play Quest on my Vista pc, please share...
I have been lurking.. following your progress: if you and your cohort(s) ever take this to kickstarter.com or are looking for funding, please add me to the list of people to notify... I would love to be able to participate in some manner.
All the best in the New Year to you and yours, and the Synekism team!

161 k is almost 50 times more people in the whole TriPort Area (Port Hardy, Port Alice, Port McNeill BC, Canada) - See Drunkapple's Map - In the north of Vancouver Island, Nimpkish Lake, and to me is unimaginable!
Nonny... I loved the 'letter to the bank'! Had me in stitches... will file for future use!
... and if the grandchildren ever complain about monsters under their beds... the mattress will hit the floor and the 'bed' will be recycled.
