Almost anything is better than Windows now a days. Vista was a colossal failure. Anyways, back on point, it looks nice. I personally don't use tabs, instead using Alt-Tab functionality to switch between a ton of things. I'm also a firm believer in the file-bar, and don't like it when people take it away. Of course, I don't know if you can add it back in, since I haven't actually downloaded it, I've just looked at pics and stuff.

The EU is to dependent on Russian imports to do anything of serious significance. They can annoy Russia by blocking membership into key world organizations, and stall or shut down various talks, but in the end, the EU can't do anything. Should oil and gas prices go back down to, say, 1990's levels (unlikely at best), the EU could consider doing something more, but until the EU either reduces its oil and gas imports, or finds new sellers, it can't do anything. As for all the endless talk about military action, that won't happen. The Russian leadership would have to be about ten times stupider than they already are to even consider attacking a NATO or EU country. It's possible there could be escalation in Georgia, but the Russians risk alienating what few friends they have left in the Caucus and Central Asia.

Geography has far more to do with this than bad planning, but the MacArthur Maze (I-80/I-580/I-880/I-980/CA-24) in the San Francisco Bay Area is just a zoo. You can't get anywhere, no matter what time of day it is. Somewhere around 20 lanes of traffic has to condense to 5 lanes to cross the Bay Bridge. And the bad planning award goes to whichever moron decided the freeway with the heaviest freight traffic merges with the rest on the left. Force every truck to scoot over, why don't you...

Got another question for you guys: EA Web support is being a pain and running me through every bureaucracy they have to prevent me from accessing their site. Does anyone have a link to a 3rd party site that has the same stuff as on the EA SC4 site? I'm looking for the night light mod in particular.

Are there any mods which allow you to make flat bridges over water, but still allow ferries, boats, and other watercraft to pass under it?

Would it be possible to make road/monorail double puzzle pieces similar to the El-rail ones you have now, to save space?
