  1. Virgin Shores

wow that's quite alot to reply too.
  2. Virgin Shores

Lol nope the united states congress lol, but that's off topic.
  3. Virgin Shores

i like debating the power issue, olny if our congress could do the same>>
  4. Virgin Shores

the simtropolis website has solar power plants that olny take rp 2x1, and wind ones that look much better and more efficent then simcity ones. I believe in mainly exanding virgin shores solar capabilites, while looking into win energy as a great alternative to diversive the ways virgin shores get's it's power. Coal and oil could be used if the power grid is in need of it, and nuclear would be a later opition if it's needed. Though looking at the terms me putting a nuclear power plant is very very unlikly. my current views on virgin shores power, is so far so good, but we could do better.
  5. Virgin Shores

But this is simcity 4! solar power is not so expensive, wind is not so expensive, they dont have envirmental impacts, and the solar plants are olny 2 x 1! Besides the date in this cj is over 2026, im sure these things have improved greatly.
  6. Virgin Shores

i somewhat already have, wind and solar, with oil and coal being opitions if the town really needes it. Nuclear is a later opition if it is fully needed. Virgin shores at this time dosent have anypower emergancy, and in simcity terms wind and solar are very reliable.
  7. Virgin Shores

diffrent educations? how so? the people of virgin shores areant dumb, and certainly this is simcity 4, you dont really need a education standerd for a power plant. And like i sad i coukd use coal, but would ultimatly expand virgin shores wind and solar capabilities, and olny if that amount of power is needed coal or oil would be used. And not to mention nuclear is a opition. besides there is nothing bad with being diverse in power, just like there is nothing wrong in having a diverse econemy.
  8. Virgin Shores

so basiclly ill support -the continue use of small solar collectors to help power virgin shores -contrinued looking into wind energy -the possibilty of using oil or coal if it permits, and covers the power needs. Water -making sure virgin shores has a reliable and clean water supply -continued use of pumping to serve the region so with that ill stop replying so much, and atleast give others a chance.
  9. Virgin Shores

i know i should have changed it for coal, but darn my forum laziness. 2026!? well im certaily back a few years. And the budget certainly is good, but still being cost efficent allows for improvments in other area's. In the next update for who ever does become head of uc could you post the power capacity and usage graph?
  10. Virgin Shores

The city of virgin shores deserves a diverse power system, using many diffrent forms of energy, from nuclear to thermal, from natural gas to oil, and from wind to solar. It deserves a balance system, espically as it progresses into the 21st century. While at the sametime we must remain effective and efficent, developming these systems when the demand and budget permits. and supercity, are we sure such a plant is needed? we dont know if there is any polution, and i would think it would go better with a massive expansion of industry.
  11. Virgin Shores

it's wierd....but i think the fourms dont think page 22 exist, or is it olny my computer? Because i cant get to page 22 without actually putting it in the url:/
  12. Virgin Shores

All of them are very clean and reliable, espically in simcity 4 terms. But in a statement to say no to 3 out of 4 of the clean energy sources is wrong. and i did notice that, juicy...lol
  13. Virgin Shores

Geothermal a good idea on paper until your left spending millions on trying to get it up, and miantaining it. Nuclear is clean safe and reliable energy. Wind is clean safe amd reliable energy. Solar is clean safe and reliable energy. So a vote for me is for clean safe and reliable energy! People are tired of the same old politics, with other politions threaten zombies, and making wide false statements, they want true Clean Safe and Reliable Energy!
  14. Virgin Shores

hmm intresting, well everyone good luck and see you at the polls, i think i know who im voting for
  15. Virgin Shores

I will try to make virgin shore energy efficent, while at the same time having a reliable power and water supply, and make sure garbage is taken care of in a clean way that has little envirmental impacts. I will try and work in sync with the mayor and other advisors to make virgin shores a better place. So i hope i can get your vote for Utility Comission, and generaly i will stay in my terms, proposing power line extensions, new plants, ect. with the occasional suggestion to other departments.
  16. Virgin Shores

hmm intresting as Head of Utilities Commission ill try to get the city a more reliable source of power, while expanding the clean energy units we already have. I will make sure all water pollution is dealt with, and the virgin shores has a reliable source of fresh clean water for the residence to enjoy, and use for backyard parties! and garbage will be dealt with and recyling efforts will be made. so remember! With ntq$310 the future looks brighter! Ntq$310 For Head of Utility Comission -Yea , ive been the virginia beach and norfolk, anynews on the Lightrail going to virginia beach? Or was it stopped dead like a decade ago?
  17. Virgin Shores

hampton roads virginia? then coal and oil be good. Such a nice area, i went to virginia beach for vacation a couple times, good hotels and bad hotels. but really how does your city get it's power currently?

  19. Revelstoke

wow great update, loved how you did the thunderstorm stuff, seemed very realistic.
  20. Virgin Shores

wow in my honor ok for the voting public im just going to give my stance ona view power related issues. Solar- Though supercity's move to solar power was somewhat dramafilled, i do feel that the move into clean reliable energy was a good one. i would support the current and future development of small solar panels in the virgin shores area, but currently for the towns status, and development using that on a huge scale is not very efficent or benifical to the town. I could support wind energy though that would be under much planning to see the benifits to the power grid and the efficency of usch a system to the general area. I would use Oil, and Coal as two main power sources, whil nuclear is a later opition. -Edited
  21. Oceana Tower

it;s strange, but almost every aspect of this building i love, espically the roof.
  22. Will you subscribe to the "planet offer" thing?

personally i would hope you could have a good 2 day trial, i hate trials that dont allow you to get into it, and with citiy builders it would be even harder to get use to it. But if i like it enough i would pay.
  23. Virgin Shores

And im putting my hat in the ring for Head of Utility Comission. With Ntq$310 The future looks Bright! get it? bright like a lightbulb.
