Yeah the Main sim city 4 site is terrible. But you definatly have a dependancy problem. Make sure you have every single file listed in the download or it wont show up.

Its all about the PS3... Here are 7 reasons why: 1) Better Graphics 2) We have cooler controllers. I mean seriously what lame system uses letters for their buttons... its just disgracful.... 3) Blu-Ray!!!! 4) Free online 5) Cool people use it 6) Blu-Ray!!! 7) More Bang for the Buck Ok in all honesty I dont think there is one system that is better than another. It just all depends on your individual preferences and to be honest if I did not get a good deal on my ps3 i could vary well be stating 7 reasons why xbox is better. my 2 cents... -Hawkeye

Hello and Welcome to my new CJ: Haven Cove! This is my 4th attempt now at a city journal and I hope that this will be very successful. Haven Cove is based off a fictional island located somewhere in the Pacific. The city itself is a mix of sprawling suburbs, rural areas and a dense Urban Core. Throughout this CJ I will be showing you places of interest throughout the region as well as giving you insight into how I build my cities. Overall I hope to create a beautiful and realistic American styled city with as much detail as possible. To achieve this I have downloaded hundreds of files from various sites and if you have any questions about these downloads I will do my best to answer them. I will also do my best to update this journal as much as possible and hopefully I will have a new update every week (but no guarantees ). The final thing I would like to address is you, Thank you very much for taking the time to view this journal and I hope that you comment! So here we go!... Pic 0.1- After Miles of open sea and nothing but salt air and sun we have finally reached the Island paradise of Haven Cove. Pic 0.2- Lets dock the boat along the Marina and set off for our first day here in the city. Pic 0.3- The Midtown distirict is home to many loacally owned shops, malls and resturants. Its a great place for tourists to relax and shop the day away. Pic 0.4- Haven Cove has many opportunities and places to be discovered. We have so much to see so stay tuned! They are all greatly appreciated!!! Ok everyone I have good news and bad news... I will start with the bad news... Bad News: Haven Cove is going to be on haitus for a while. The main reason for this is that I dont have enough areas completed to create a full update. I need a little time to finish up the region and then I can begin updating again. I cant say how long this will be at the moment but I will keep you posted on my progress. Good News: I have had an idea for a new CJ for a while now and I am going to be finally starting it soon. I know your thinking "Well if you cant even keep up with one CJ how will you be able to do 2?" and I understand. I am hoping that the style i will be presenting the new CJ in will allow frequent updates and alot of time for sc4!!! So there you have it Iam putting one CJ on Haitus and starting a new one! 'What?' wow alot has happened while I was away and I completely understand and support the new cardif (err i guess it would just be Cardiff since the original Cardiff was never started (Ok now i am just rambling)) Anyway... wow I was definatly like 'what?' and then I was like woah and then wow awsome awsome awsome work with these teasers!!! I love the downtown and I like the greenery of the city!!! I am definatly looking forward to the start of the CJ!!!

Nice update, its a very good mix of buildings and the effects look really nice!!! I use Gimp aswell and I agree it is a very nice program especially for the price we paid for it !!! Awsome work and lookin forward to your 3 picture update !!!
