Foundland | Forgotten Town
Exploring the Country.

nothing special, nor anything great.
Unfortunately due to corruption in the South, the town is lay crumble.
Tourist/Citizen/Whatever you wanna call: "
should have come in the Winter."

He Landed at the Town Airport, finding the town wasn't as it seemed from the sky.
He checked the outside and saw crime and deterioration.
Not the best first thing to see.
[Momentarily leave the story]

Foundland Village, a town built to compete against the city of Iricini Sur Citti which had then became
the state capitol, failed to do so.
Now it is left to deteriorate and abandonment slowly takes the life of the town.

A city situated in the snow capped alps of the Southern State, it is found to be remote
and a very long drive or train ride is definite.

Near the pier is the ferry terminal, one easy way of cutting 30 minutes off driving trips.
Although sometimes unreliable, it is still used very often, by local towns people and out of town
civilians.

THE TENEMENTS OF FOUNDLAND. These high rise residence home to many.

Tenements and motels are often left an unpleasant mess, which is why no one
ever dwells here to long. Most people who live here have low paying jobs or no
jobs at all. And although is has been said that buildings here are unstable
people still take no notice and stay.

More tenement lots.

Once the pride of the town, the Theater Street is now closing down
due to low customer and demand.
But since the facilities are so filthy, who would.

Industrial companies clog the cities beautiful landscape with toxic air and pollutants.
Now ruining the image of the State, It will be forever like this
until the city takes its last breath and shuts down.

The inner gaps of the railways provide shelter to the unemployed poor and stay hidden in their
homes from the rest of the uncivilized society.

The Depot of the town is here and beside it is the rail station. Rural, very rural.

The stores, markets and apartment buildings are very tightly packed and have little space left.
The small gaps in some areas provide home for again the homeless.

Interestingly, the Mayor of the town has enough money to survive and to live in a more than adequate Million dollar
mansion.
Unfair?
[back to the story, time for some sightseeing]

But since the town is so terrible, there are some upsides. He filmed some
whales from a helicopter as he saw them swimming on the Lehov River.
Here is a paused moment of the video.

He zoomed is camera into the river and bridge, and with that
the mountain in the background was blurred.
But then he spotted something that was odd....

The rails were blocked!
"Dang, now I have to take a 2 hour detour to Iricini! This is gonna
be forever!!"
And yes it was, going to be a long ride.
It seems the town was a just a mere disappointment, a town
crumbling, with a great scenery. A town of wasted opportunities.
He took a train to his next destination, another long ride away from the capitol.
Heading for the bridge over the River, the route will offer relaxing sceneries
and beautiful mountain sculptures.
Although this town was rundown and was not as interesting to him,
there will be a something better on the way in the Lush Valley's that await.
