East Atkinos #4 - A reprise in tribute
A reprise from 04 July 2008, honoring the church's namesake

East Atkinos: The Longest Church
Settlers from Atkinos Town often sail east into this area. A group of parishioners from St. Paul's Church in Atkinos decided to settle together and form a new town. The central feature of the town is a long, narrow church, St. Paul's Cathedral of the Preformed Assumption. We will see how this church dominates the town which surrounds it.

A wide view of the town, to give some perspective. New Atkinos and points north are to the left.

The entrance to the cathedral faces St. Paul's Square, a favorite gathering spot for townsfolk.

The massive building also hosts a seminary and a theological library.

The rear of the church empties into Stell Plaza. A cut stone promenade connects the two ecclesiastic plazas with a pair of scenic walkways.

The dominating feature of the church, and the town, is the massive bell tower. One of the tallest structures ever built in Schulmania; it can be seen from miles away in every direction.
Let's take some closer in views of the distinctive tower.
