Sponztav, Bordav

Sponztav grew into a large city of over 500,000 by the 1940s. This was because of the wealth generated by its close proximity to Bordav's natural resources (see a region-wide map here).
However, as the natural resources were depleted, Sponztav lost much of its wealth, and by the 1980s the city was suffering from out migration. By the close of the 20th century, only 350,000 residents remained, many in poverty.
The dilapidated Civic Center is evidence of Sponztav's decline. The hard times have also pushed local politics to the right.
Industry is everywhere. Here, you can seem some warehouses and storage takes located very close to a local park and the City's hospital.
Sports are still very popular. This field houses Sponztav's football, soccer, and baseball teams (though the baseball dimensions are a bit odd: left 360, left-center 455, center 380, right center 360, right 221).
