As 1910 crept closer, Betterfeld seemed to slow down development. More middle class residents upgraded existing homes rather than build new ones themselves.

The newest developments have just about reached the end of the foothills surrounding the city. Most belong to lower class residents.

Before development started slowing, the downtown area got 2 new additions. One is the first building of Betterfeld's first bank, Deschutes River Bank. The second was the city's first apartment building.

And finally, the BCC has proposed building a small 2 lane bridge across the river in an effort to ease the pollution on the residents and businesses by moving industries across the river.

Plan A:

Plan B:

Plan C:

That's all for now! I hope your enjoying reading this as much as I'm enjoying making it! Also, if anybody has any tips or anything on how to make it so your demand for RCI never drops that would be mucho appreciated. That's the problem I always run into when making a city, which is why I stick to small towns 2.gif

Absolutely wonderful! Love it! as for demand, there are two demand mods - Radical Ordinance and... another one... XD
I've used them both, and radical ordinance seems to work better, although you will lose a bunch of ordinances. They're both on the STEX

The Bluejay: What do you search for it? I searched "Radical Ordinance" and nothing came up?

wakkaolaf53: Yeah I liked Plan A. It kind of reminds me of one of the bridges in Cincinnati.

I like Plan B because, the bridge gives more appeal to the city of Betterfield, and it's industrial area.

I can't wait to see the bridge built, and more of this!!!

Nice entry and photoediting. I like plan A for the same reason as that of Wakkaolaf53

In regard to demand in large cities, what do is set a specific tax rate. $R=9% $$R=8% $$$R=7%
                                                                                                                             $Cs=7% $$Cs=6% $$$Cs=5%
                                                                                                                              $$Co=5.5% $$$Co= 4.5%
Just keep the industrial tax rates the same unless you want more tax money. this system has always worked for me.
