As Everglade grows, more and more power is needed. With more power plants comes more and more pollution. So instead of building more polluting plants, why not just build cleaner plants for a cheaper cost?

...So, that was planned. An old farm near the Reaserch District (high-tech industry) was bought.

img0001g.jpg

The old field was plowed over and then leveled to provide a good base for the plant.

img0002mo.jpg

The first half of the plant was built and was already in operation.

img0003sl.jpg

A bit later the second half was completed.

img0004va.jpg

Soon the rest of the land was open to development. Some houses and busnesses set up, and a small park was built to the left of the

complex.

img0005na.jpg

Now that the new plant is built, the old polluting plants can be shut down... permanatly. Resedents, as well as city officials have been baffled

ever since the plant was built. When it was constructed oil was relitivly cheap to import. Now its getting pretty expensive. It was waaaaay better

to build a solar plant which requiers almost zero mantaince.

img0006uv.jpg

So the charges wher set and......5.....4.....3.....2.....1............

BOOM!!!!

img0008o.jpg

When the land was opened up, the city decided not to develop it, and instead built parks in there place. The Wherehouse district is very

polluted, and more factories would not help.

So in one spot, some picnic grounds where built to provide workers a nicer place to eat lunch instead of having to eat with soot covered food.

img0009nx.jpg

In the other spot, two basketball courts wher built to give workers some fun on lunch. Although they cant play for long... the dirty air dosent

allow for the sim body to breath well.

Thats all for today!!

Untill next time!!

Very nice! Now you have to have some energy company from 300 miles away come in and build 100 wind turbines and say they are green, even though they have 5 or 6 coal plants elsewhere. That is what they are doing around here.... Very cool entry! Can't wait to see more!

Maravone: Yea, and as I said above,

"I have a plan for a wind farm in the near future ,Probably up on the plateu because of the absense of trees, and..... its high up which makes for high winds."
