Eastglen
Welcome back, folks! Lets take a quick look at the area of Eastglen, once again north of downtown.
At the top, we can see Clarke Stadium, home of the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders (ed. note - revisionist history in play), who made their way to the Grey Cup this fall, losing to the Montreal Alouettes with zero time left - a heartbreak for the province. You can also see Stadium Station, a part of the soon-to-be-opened North LRT line. This line makes use of the already built CN right-of-way, and has been constructed in almost record time, with costs far below what the crippling downtown sections cost. Residents are excited about not having to worry about the parking hassle at the stadium for games and concerts!
Moving down in the image, we see the neighborhood of Eastglen. We'll have full details and a full set on that, next entry, though!
