Northern Inner City Suburbs - East MacJohnson

Sign in to follow this

The northern inner city suburbs consist of a number of suburbs on the north side of the Kanga River which are close to the CBD. They are newly developed and renovated areas and now contain many high wealth districts, offices, shopping plazas and hotels. These districts expand on the high living of the CBD, making Rooleyson a real good place of good living. There are two areas of the northern inner city suburbs, split by the MacJohnson River, which joins with the Kanga River at the area: the East MacJohnson Inner City Suburbs and West MacJohnson Inner City Suburbs.

East MacJohnson Inner City Suburbs

The Market

The Market is the main entertainment district of not only the northern inner city suburbs, but of the whole city. It contains a big shopping district, with many shopping malls and lanes of markets. It also contains many other leisure areas, such as the bowling alley, and the landmark Kodak Theatre. There are also two hotels in this area, the Novotel On The Market and The Market Hotel. This district also contains some residences, including low density high wealth residences, medium density very high wealth residences and a residential tower of very high wealth residences.

La Ville De MacJohnson

La Ville De MacJohnson is one of the two French districts of the city. These two districts were built to celebrate and acknowledge the increase in the French citizens in the town and the history of the French with Rooleyson. Ths district contains medium density high wealth residences as well as low density residences.

Corrington is a suburb like most others in the city, containing many low density housing, offices and shops. It contains a mix of high and medium wealth residences throughout the suburb. Although being an ordinary suburb, housing prices are higher due to how close it is to the CBD and The Market district.

East Market & Corrington

The district of East Market & Corrington is a new formed suburb from previous areas on the east side of The Market and Corrington. The Rooleyson City Council had long debates about this, but came to a conclusion for it to be done for easier filing of areas and postage. The East Market area contains three high wealth high residential towers along with low density high wealth and medium wealth residences. The East Corrignton area continues the medium wealth residences and contains some offices and shops.

Another article will shortly follow on from this and will be about the West MacJohnson Inner City Suburbs.
