new york city - manhattan

Looking nice. I highly  suggest that when re-creating a real life city, then start out where the city began. Look up old histories and maps of how the city was founded and then grew. This will give you the life experience and feel for that particulair city. Start in battery park and move north. Also found the city of brooklyn and watch new york and brookly grow side by side, start feeling the rivarly between the two until the day when new york added king county to the "City". Enjoy it. I will by checking out your progress while I work on San Francisco. Maybe I can get a non-stop from my airport to yours in the CJ universe!
