Cedar Creek Canal:
Cedar Creek was experiencing increased shipping traffic, and some parts were becoming unnavigable.The Town hired engineers to build a canal in its place to increase capacity.

Overview of the massive developments:
Those R$$$ sims flocked to the new, and apparently attractive canal, but the old JR/SR HS(Greyveil) was flooded with students, so the town built an fancy new high school in the new neighborhood, named Ward SR HS:
There wre also Shazzay new townhouses built along the canal, along with parks and ferry stations:
Remember the quaint little Cedar Creek Bridge...? Well here it is today, renamed the Eastbook road Bridge, sine this is
no longer a creek:
