Worsaw suburban shots! The first ring
In 1962 Worsaw municipal authorities approved a general development urban plan for their district, pursuant to which the area covering the 8 tiles around the historical center (the first ring),
is to be given over to high capacity commercial and residential blocks and a giant freight terminal at the east gates. The intent of the first urban design was to expand the city along the development guidelines freeing the ancient historical center from traffic. With the progress of economical development in the 90's, and the population boom, theze zones remains the most populated in the city (the 8 tiles together are about 3 millions inhb). In the year 2005, a new general plan is approved and the city could change again...
