Norige Hills(Inner City) Part 3

Today you will see one of the most important sights of historic center of the capital. One of the most important objects of the country on which annually come to look at hundreds of thousands tourists.

The cathedral was constructed in 1894-1905 on Marc Remberton project as the main church of guademian Protestants and court church of a ruling dynasty Rombergs. The cathedral is executed in Baroque style. The dynasty crypt Rombergs where 70 of 89 remained burials are presented is open for visitors. The cathedral settles down on the Loders square, opposite old times of library.9481165.png

The old library is located in the administrative District of Inner City in Berberg Street and Loders Square adjoining to it. The building in Baroque style was built in 1775 — 1780 on the project of the Illyrian architect Josef Emanuel Fischer  by the guademian architect Georg Christiaan Danbrack. Since 1914 in Old library the law department of University of Tewart is placed. The old library was constructed by request of emperor Friedrick . Thanks to Old library literature which was the exclusive privilege of the nobility earlier, of ministers and the highest state ranks, became available to the bourgeoisie.9481167.png

National (former court) opera. It is the largest opera theater in Guademia, the center of musical culture. The court opera in Norige Hills  arose in the middle of the XVII century, performances of the opera went at various theaters . In 1861 construction of the special building for the National opera on the project of the Norige Hills architects Stewart Sikard  and Eduard Nyull was begun; the building was complete by 1869 and opened on May 25 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "Don Juan".9481201.png

Academy of arts and design one of the most important and prestigious higher educational institutions of the country. Here about 20.000 students are trained. Annually from other regions of the country and from other countries there come about 4.000 people for receipt to academy. Exactly here many famous world architects in the United Simnation were trained.

Mayot square one of the most brisk places in the city. Here it is always full of youth. There are a lot of bars and other entertainments.
