Addersong City - Cities Skylines

Hello everyone!

First, a big thank you for those who commented on my last Dashing journal entry. I always appreciate your comments and suggestions!!!

Ok, so I have been playing around with Cities Skylines. It is an interesting game. Of course, being a new game, there are some bugs and issues that needs to be resolved. I am sure they will be in time.

I do miss my SC4 tho...must be because of the variety mods and bats available with it. The repetition of buildings does annoy me a bit, but again, it is a new game and I am certain the modding/batting community will take care of that.

Anyhoooooo...just wanted to show you what I have been doing for the past couple of days. The city is doing well, traffic is a moderate issue, but overall, I am at 90% happiness with the cims and commercial/industrial sectors. So far (knock on wood), I have a healthy city.

This will probably be my first and last entry. I am nowhere as talented as some on this site, but I just wanted to share this with you.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy the upcoming weekend!!! :)

That actually is almost as equal as your New Manshin entries. I just like the careful thought and planning of it. The last picture's road layout is something you do really see in New Developments so gorgeous! :)

Agree with Tonraq. It reminds me on New Manshin!

Those two gigantic statues striked me. With that size any of them could have been used on top on the Palace of the Soviets :P

A beautiful city especially the layout of the city is really smooth but the Highway seems a little disorganized but anyway a beautiful city journal

Very good road planning and those two giant statues are inspired! I hope you stick around and post more CS entries, there are enough mods out there to really improve building diversity- as that seems to be one of the issues you are having with CS.

In the next entry, hopefully, it would be lovely to see some close-ups of Addersong City.

Looking pretty cool-- you are rocking two games now! I may need to break down and give CS a try!

I like the look of the new game.  Is it difficult to build a big city in it?

I am definitely not a pro..but it is not that hard to build a big city. The challenge for me is traffic and planning the roads...I play without the cheat mode, which mean I slowly unlock roads and transit...by the time I have the items unlocked, the city is built and boom, destruction time...slowly but surely, I will get the hang of it...so many cities destroyed..lol

I am sure you would enjoy it tho!
