"To The City," the capital city of Lake Felis, is where we are headed today. The wild, wonderful kingdom of Harar is mostly undeveloped land suitable for non-domiciled felines living the traditional feline lifestyle. There are a few places for felines to gather and transact business. The largest of these is the small town of Lake Felis, located on the cat head shaped lake of the same name. The National Palace, home of Queen Vera, is here. Let's visit the town with a group of felines traveling from the mountains to the city to get a new cardboard box to play in.
As you can tell, transit times are long and speeds are slow. But, such is the way of life in Harar!
Welcome to the big city!
A wider view of the eastern side of town. The lake terrace is at the top of the picture.
The National Palace is at the center. The Bureau of Feline Affairs building is the compound across the street from it. That's where most of the governing takes place.
Some shops have cardboard boxes for sale. Everyone wants one!
Cardboard box sales are regulated by the BFA. Only the sturdiest and most exciting boxes are worthy of being sat in.
The National Cathedral is across the street from the National Palace and faces the lake terrace
