Humble beginnings... 06/07/2007
New Zealand is riding high on the Pacific and Tasman tectonic plates, it makes for interesting geological underpants. Means we have lots of earthquakes and lots of volcanos. The mountain in the middle of the North Island that we ski on (Mt Ruapehu) is an active volcano... it last erupted in 1996 and 1998 .... completely ruined the ski season. ![]()
