New Zealand is riding high on the Pacific and Tasman tectonic plates, it makes for interesting geological underpants.  Means we have lots of earthquakes and lots of volcanos.  The mountain in the middle of the North Island that we ski on (Mt Ruapehu) is an active volcano... it last erupted in 1996 and 1998 .... completely ruined the ski season.  15.gif

Author's commentary:   Wow, this is very, very early...  still at the farm development stage, the grid is on, big blocky foundations.
I do have a water mod in but it must have been one of the very few custom content items that I had at the time.   It was fun building up the side of the volcanic cone though...  this one is Mount Eden.

Heh.  I used to build my cities like that.  No regard whatsoever for the terrain.  Just grid the whole damn city and let the sims sort it all out.  :P

Comparing this with your newer work, it's an amazing contrast.
