Genito Island: The Western Gem
MARTINWOOD USES JBBRY'S ISLE OF REE MAP AS SEEN HERE -
GENITO ISLAND: EMERALD OF THES WEST!
Genito Island is the western most settlement of Martinwood, it's a moderate sized island composed of three small towns. They are David's Beach, South Genito, and Northshore. The Economy relies mainly on tourism and fishing along with some small manufacturing and small amounts of Agriculture.

This 3D Topograhical map shows the basic outline of Genito Island, with Northshore in the north, South Genito in the South and David's Beach out east.

Airborne shot of South Genito and southern David's Beach

A little farther east, we see the Naval base.

This is the northern portion of Genito Island. It includes Northshore and North David's Beach

Here's David's Beach, the westernmost settlement in Martinwood. Aside from having being one of the islands two ferry terminals, it is also a popular summer desitination and a large portion of the shacks you see are actually vacation rental properties.

The Northern half of the town is still populated by vacation shacks, but there are more perminent residences in this side of town. Lots of Farm labor lives here.

One of the main reason's for David's Beach to have so many shacks is that David's beach tends to get the brunt of every major storm the sweeps through the area. The shacks are much easier to rebuild then any larger home.

You'd be surprised at the industrial strength of Genito Island. Several small manufacturers and agricultural businesses are located in Genito Island. Here we see a couple of examples, with a Vineyard (Across from the graveyard) built near an aluminium tubing manufacturer (Top right corner).

Northshore also has it's own beach and a fairshare of Industry. Here we see that Tourism also holds strong here with both the Ferry terminal and the Beach

There is even minor suburban sprawl as a couple of retail companies (ShopKo and Burger King) have built on the outskirts of town.

Most Industry in northern Genito Island is located around the power plant (Any suggestions on what kind of power plant I should make it? Coal and Oil both seem impractical with thei islands size, and accessibility)

The shiny new police station along with the famous art deco Northshore Hotel

The bread and butter of Northern Genito, the Northshore Beach! one of the islands gems, it is well known throughout western Martinwood as a hotspot, even attracting American Hollywood elites occasionally.

Another local attraction, is the Max Alfred Spire, named after the cities first mayor.

Here's the most important building in Genito Island! the Genito Island stae building (Yes Genito Island is a state) where most of the state government works.

South Genito's smaller downtown.

While tourism is the mainstay in the north of the island, Fishing is moneymaker in SOuth Genito, here we see the main fishing port.

Another hidden Gem in Genito Island is the Arts Center. Located next to the Lutheren church of Genito Island, and the Elementry School, it's a place where artist of multiple mediums can showcase themselves.
