Hello!

Thank you guys for the comments!

Today, we are going to see a city called Hakone. Hakone is onsen[link] located in the mountains and accessible by car, but most people prefer to take the scenic train that goes up the mountain. The city is mostly known for its hot springs located along the river Kami (Kami-kawa, literally god's river) and the Fallingwater museum near the waterfall which attracts lots of tourists all the year.

The mountain over Hakone is called Kami-Yama (God's mountain). The region is named after this mountain. This mountain is named Kamiyama because people have worshiped the mountain as God's mountain in the past.

the Hakone train station. The 485-300 Series EMU make the travel along the mountain, down to Wakamatsu where they reverse and go to the terminus, Kamiyama.

The oldest onsen in the city (right) dates from the last years of the Meji era. Despite its old value, it is not the most visited onsen in the city due to the fact that it is located close to the city center.

I hope you liked this update! Next time we'll see more of this town with mosaics, and during autumn!

This town is within an hour's drive of where I live, and this time of year it is an ABSOLUTE HORROR to visit.  Cars jam the roads, and the highway in is backed up for miles and miles and miles, much like the highway in to the town where I live is during the spring and summer holidays.  Hakone area is a fairly large region, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!

EDIT: Haha I just read the description under the title on the main page and this is a work of fiction hahahahah!  Please disregard what I said and just know that I think your work is great!

NMU - Indeed my region is a work of fiction... However! I take names and locations from real places, and I try to re-create in the game places I liked in Japan. I literally fall in love with the region of Hakone, I was watching a video of the Hakone Tozan railway, the "Hydrangea line" and I just loved everything I saw there. To this effect I decided to create a place similar (also the whole onsen area was quite a challenge, mainly due to the fact that there aren't much buildings fit for osen, I might have to create some of the older myself.) And then I just saw that the mountain over Hakone is called Kamiyama, just like my region.. Took the opportunity to add a little story to my region.
