Bicentennial Park, ReddingHappy Fourth of July to my American viewers! Well, I'm finally done with my Simlympic Park! All I need is a cool logo (anyone interested?2.gif) and I will bid on Simsports. It has 4 state-of-the-art stadiums, a curling center, and world class ski slopes. With downtown an easy 30 minutes away, 2 large airports, and an amazing subway and commuter rail system, isn't Redding the obvious choice? Well, enough talk, now for some pictures!

mtgreennationalparkmay5.pngThe main Simlympic Park. The HSBC Arena will hold the opening and closing ceremonies and will hold 26,000 people. The rectangular arena above that holds the hockey events and can have 19,000 spectators. The white oval arena will hold speed skating events, and its capacity is 10,000. The newest stadium, the metalic one with skylights, will hold figure skating, as well as short track speed skating Its capacity is 14,000, Finally, the fiberglass curling center has no indoor seats, spectators will sit on stands on the outside.

mtgreennationalparkmay1.pngThis is the Athlete's Village. It can house up to 6,000 athletes for the games. It has a subway station and a bus station. During the games, GATA will be providing FREE transportation in the Greenwich City Metro Area. The village also has a medical center and an interfaith chapel, located in the courtyard of the center complex.

mtgreennationalparkmay2.pngThis is the Media Center. The first floor is the lobby where the general public can get information about the games. The second floor has the Simlympia Simlympic Restaurant, a five star restaurant featuring international and local cuisine. The third floor has an Athlete's Lounge, where all the athletes can come and relax after a long day. All the top floors will be rented to international news networks televising the games.

This is the ski slope. It will be for the events of Alpine-Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G, Skiing, Snowboarding, ski jumping, and freestyle events. The large flat area to the left of the screen is the site of the biathlon.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this update! A vote is in place in Redding to rename it Olympia! Please share your thoughts about this.
