For those that remember the story line of the first Alien Worlds, this entry should have even greater meaning :)

Don't tell me that this "orb" thing is here and something terribly wrong or something terribly right is going to happen? D:

Well, that's not ominous. I mean, after having the winged one awaken the orb, losing all the crew on a comet, and landing as a stop gap measure on a barren icy planet, we find a pyramid. Obviously the orbs timing was right, though it's not really clear whose fault the orb is...Like, did the people who gave them orb know what they were doing? And are they really lost, if they ended up exactly where the orb wanted them to after getting lost falling out of a wormhole and then going off to nowhere in particular in search of familiar stars?

 

Also, as a bit of a backtrack, we've developed a hyperspace drive in all of 60 years, but we haven't been able to develop a 3d generated space chart of the milky way? I mean, with all the star gazing they do nowadays (and the current 3D space model that they have), it'd seem like they'd've been able to come up with something before they set off on Mankind's Greatest Endeavor Yet. But this is just me over-thinking things. Obviously there's quite a bit of plot going on that has to be appeased.
