Welcome back to Geelong. If you've missed the local news, the Geelong Cats(2nd on the ladder) lost to the Brisbane Lions(4th last on the ladder) last week. From being 52 points up in the third quarter, they lost by 5 points. The coach wasn't happy. And also we have a new Prime Minister, well it's the same one we had three years ago that was sacked, and now he's had the one that sacked him sacked and taken her job. It's all a bit confusing and ridiculous but it has put the spotlight on Geelong. The seat of Corangamite, which covers the areas south and west of Geelong, is the countries tightest maginal seat, with less than 750 votes. Add that and with all the major industries in Geelong closing in the past year we can expect a lot of attention and promises.

Here's the latest update, Clifton Springs, east of Geelong.

Fun week it's been. I live in the 4th most marginal seat, our one changes every election.

I do like the region shots you provide with every update.
