Heavy rain has been affecting Mangdu the past few days... The heaviest in years...

Even Kaisung Dam in the north of Gichang River has been opened to avoid overflowing in Lake Kaisung.

Parts of Gichang River have risen to over 30cm.

Some flights in Mangdu have been cancelled due to the rain.

Thankfully East Canal which is connected to Gichang River has not overflowed or many parts in Central Mangdu could be flooded.
