Despite the pristineness of Peyton's Place's twin city Stepford Island, it appears to be only a cover up for something or things more sinister. The more I dig though the attic here at grandma's house (now that gramps has 'bought a brand new farm") things seem so unreal, yet, familiar! But for some reason I still cannot put a finger on what it is and WHY it seem so related.
I found this file just last night! Looks like files that my dad was working on or "found" in his fathers possession back when my dad was still a teen. But now, that hes gone,
I thimk i will pick up where my father left off.
Some other stuff, photos, documents and an old camera i pulled from the attic (grandma doesnt know i took them). That black and white photo puzzles me, it got gramps name on the back but doesn't look like him at ALL. And the pic of that "plastic" looking guy I wonder if hes some "uncle" ive not met? Looks like he could be my dad's brother AND he looks like my gramps in a photo of his younger days!
Now that I have both picturs side by side, its sort of eerie feeling. I "KNOW" that's my gramps on the left!!! But WHOSE the character on the right and whats he doing wearing the same uniform as my gramps!... but then again whose the guy in the color photo above and why didn't gramps "age" at all over the years!? (THeres more to Stepoford Island than may family had told me)

"what was he REALLY into as an Association Member"?
This pic has my dad's handwriting on it. It fell out of a letter he had addressed to a friend I recall him speaking of , a trafficcopter pilot at the old Peyton Place News8 TV Station! This has to be when they flew over the S.M.A. Compount and snapped this pic back in 1942. I think I will take this downtown to the "16-Minute-Man Kodak Shop" and see if he can restore it. Maybe it can explain what those white spots we see all over the grounds (from a distance).

Next UP: Will dig into gramps diaries about the "research" that went on in underground labs and hospitals! Especially tbat one.. its HIGH up ona steep cliff miles above the Association and only accessible by Association members via subway or tunnels.
