EPISODE 3 (Scene 1):

Who Influenced Our Region

---

One Town Divided

Now that you know the "atmosphere" of Peyton Place, some of the people and the turmoil this town is plagued with, lets look at how we got here from where we've been. Peyton place was a small town nestled between the S T E P F O R D mountains located in the southern regions of Simtropolis. there was one main road where the first town hall was built in 1900 (pics coming soon) and rolling hills of farmland.

If you recall from earlier episodes , The Peyton's, Baynes and Polk families owned most of the area and each had their own way of contributing to the growth of our town. The town and surrounding counties were split into, divided into four sectors with the town square being the newutral seat of government. The southeast sector , ours (the Peytons) as you can see, seem to be the most prosperous.

In this episode going forward, we shall focus on one influential family at a time and how their unique personalities and legacies are still "alive" in todays Peyton Playce....(Hint.. You'll see how "Seedy Side" is tied to one of these families)

The PEYTON County Territory

Each quarter had its own coveted properties that made the land the envy of the other three. The Peyton Dynasty had access The vacation spots in the region and owned a huge island south of here. We also had the first and only education system in all of Peyton Place - Stepford.

View From Ontop Peyton Mountain

This view shows the beauty of my great great great grandfather's land. The expanse of Peyton territory itself is an indication why the entire region (including the three quarters) eventually became "Peyton Place".

Unfortunately however, there's our own mysterious side in Peyton County.. This road for example, got its name from an incident occurred long ago in that bard on the old Johnson's farm (now abandoned). This is the ONLY road in the entire region that has access to the high school. We have psss this farm, several SIMeteries to reach the school ontop of the hill.

Same location, 30 years ago. This was the house where many eerie missing perons events happened that are still unsolved to this day.

Route to School: Take Chainsaw Barn Road up to Old SIMetery Rd (turning left on Old SIMetery); Pass an old abandoned church on the right and a huge abandoned old buriel grounds on the left (even in summer, it gets very cold walking through this stretch)... "IF" you make it passed the SIMetery, turn right going uphill on Deadman Hill Road.. The high school is on the right at a deadend street.

Unbelievable how Mr. Polk and Mr. Baynes are that spiteful because they cant take oir family land. This , believe it or not is a "new subdivision the jont company "Polk & Baynes Constructors" erected across from the entrance to our farm!
