Brief explanation on history of Ferrara:

The city of Ferrara was founded by Italian immigrants, from Trieste, in northeastern italy.Immigrants come in search of a better condition of life, and have settled in the region because of the extremely fertile land, situated in a plain between the rivers Donn and Donniev.In the beggining,they faced great difficulties, such as flooding, torrential rain and even a epidemic of Malaria.But after a period of difficulties they finally managed to establish itself firmly, draining swamps, devastating forests, etc. .... Once the Italian settlers began to prosper, the news of land available at low prices, has spread, attracting people of the whole world , especially Spain, England and France.The City Is Located in the coordinates: 53,40,27,92 N > 23,49,43,50 L, in a region where occur large amounts of rain (about 1500mm), so has (had) extensive temperate rain forests.To combat this environmental damage, in 2005 the government introduced stringent environmental laws to regulate the farmers, this created discomfort between government and cooperatives in the city, resulting in strikes, and culminating with a large protest in Cinnigrad in 2006.Today the situation is stable .
