Tortoise Head

In the late 1980's the town of Breamlea was completly bulldozed to build a swamp. After a few years the Surf Coast Council decided that the swamp was usless and drew up a plan to build the wealthiest part of the Surf Coast. Named Tortoise Head after a local fisherman Tortise "Bob" Head, who died from ross river fever when mosquitos were brought down to make the swamp more tropical.
