Rengska - various views of the city, in various stages of development...
Rengska is the most recent of several Nordic influenced cities I have made.
All of my cities are completely functional (with some cheats of course).
As an urban planning student, I use SC4 as a design tool to put theory/creativity into practice.
I focus on developing very efficient transportation networks. All avenues and roads in my cities are part of a national "freeway" system paid for and maintained by the national government. The national freeway system (abbreviated NFX) has no stops/intersections - only overpasses and roundabouts.... very much influenced by Northern European transportation planning. Streets form the majority of my transportation system and are maintained by municipalities... I keep congestion minimal by funneling traffic to the efficient and higher capacity NFX system......
Rengska is based on a typical "ring-road" design. Roads on the NFX will be upgraded to avenues when/if capacity requires... or if I feel like doing it 
enjoy!
