Zones of Ionica - Magi

Welcome back,

Thanks for all the feedback and encouragement.

hahei - I sure hope one day I can make something worthy of Ben's Top Ten. I'll keep trying.

terring - Thanks.

00Stevo - The Building that looks like a computer chip is of course the Borg Entertainment Cube.

Hyronymus - Yes, that underground station entrance is functional. You don't see subways going through it or anything but you do connect a subway line to it. This is the station ins question.

I was hard at work renovating Avalon when it suddenly crashed my SC4. I couldn't understand what went wrong. I could no longer load my region after launch, Sim City would just crash. Thankfully I keep backups of my Region so i replaced the malfunctioning Avalon with an older one. This means I have lost a lot of my progress and it will take a little longer to renovate than expected. I'm thinking of just drip feeding some of my renovations as I go along, rather than waiting until it is all done and then showing it.

Magi - Population - 78,034

I've already shown a bit of this Zone in one of my earlier entries and I described it as Langley Virginia meets Cape Canaveral. Magi is the Zone for all things industrial and military. It is the home of three space ports and the Ionican Intelligence Agency (IIA). Some of the pictures continuity because I changed a couple of things last minute.

IIA HQ - In reality this is the NVidia Corporate Headquarters. I'm surprised no one has made either a NSA, CIA or Pentagon building.

This is a super huge mosaic of Magi, it is 20mb and could take a while to load depending on your connection. Probably best to save it and then look at it. I made this Zone a few months ago and it has it flaws (such as trees popping through highways here and there), but I like it overall. Enjoy!

Thanks for visiting and thank you Simtropolis.

lesgaz - Thank you.

Great as always but I recall that space ports are not that close to any roads...but given the tight space you are working in I would just let it go.
