A Modern World

In today’s world Monseroux takes a step back from International affairs and tends to deal with its own problems. Not taking
up membership in the UN, EU, or NATO, both King Claude lé Darling and Prime Minister Fureux, believe firmly that it is in the
interests of Monseroux not to become involved in the petty squabbles of the outside world, and also not to be held ransom
by trade agreements.

Monseroux has two political parties; the Royal Conservatives, and the People’s Liberal Party. It is tradition for the current
reigning Monarch of Monseroux to take up the Chairmanship of the Royal Conservative Party and this has being done since
the formation of Parliament, 200 years ago. The People’s Liberal Party have never won an election to-date due to the dominance
of the Royal Conservatives in Parliament.

In recent times King Claude lé Darling and his father, King Albert lé Darling, have being criticized for their public relationships with
many Organised Crime figures most notably Sicilian Mafia Bosses and also Russian Oil Tycoons. The lé Darlings tendency to
circulate within the highest social circles of Monseroux and also European culture is perhaps their most famous trait, and many
historians consider their reign to be more of a European Soap Opera rather than a Monarchy. This celebrity status however
ensures the popularity, and influence of the lé Darling Family making them greatly loved in comparison to other Royal Families.

the years 1790 - 1800 in the Parisian style. The town centre is alive with bustling restaraunts and bars along with
the best Boutique shopping on the Riviera with shops such as; Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, LaCoix and Gaultier.

Saint Prichardé Catholic Chapel located on Rué dé D'Asti, was the first religious structure to be built in the city of
LaCoix. Since its construction in 1790, the Chapel has suffered both a short French Invasion and also the horrors
of the Monseroux Bombardment of 1941 by the Nazis. Today the Chapel still stands strong and is attended by the
Monarch every Sunday for Mass.

l'Opera dé Damiano D'Asti was built in 1791 by the prominent banking family of the Damiano D'Asti's. The Opera
House has hosted many of the centuries greatest acts and is the epitamy of Monseroux life and culture. Vibrant
plays hosted in grandé Halls along with rich and powerful guests make l'Opera dé D'Asti the number one tourist
attraction in LaCoix.
